A proper sequel to a classic favourite. Really nicely done.

I've never played a monkey island game before so this is my very first. I'm really it enjoying it so far! I just got to part three.

A worthy sequel to end the Monkey Island trilogy and one of the very few non-indie games to come out in the 2020s that isn't absolute trash. It's almost too good to be true, but my only complaints are the slightly worse controls and the removal of the "modern technology in the age of piracy" jokes. 9/10

It's a Great adventure reminiscent of the old Sierra and Lucasarts games!

If 2 was your favorite in the series, or you just somehow enjoy unsatisfying endings, then you'll like this one. The art is decent and the voice-acting is good for the most part. However, the ending is worse than 2's (something inane about "chasing past glory" and "just a tale to entertain a child") and many plot threads are left unfinished. I also found the puzzles to be rather bland, and Guybrush was even more of a sociopath than usual. That latter bit is commented on, but never resolved.
3 (Curse) and 5 (Tales) were my favorites, where you actually felt like you were on a stupid adventure and playing an adventure game, not experiencing someone else's midlife crisis. If you feel the same, avoid this trash heap. 3/7 on my rating scale, but only that high because of the art and voice-acting.

Scratched my nostalgia, nicely. True to the original whimsical comedy. I enjoyed this game. I wish there was more to do.

It's like a "Déjà vu", a great feeling. A reminiscent of a previous time, in a nostalgic way.

**MILD SPOILERS**
Much has been said about the art style, but when looking at the screenshots, please ask yourself if the style is capable of being expressive. I see stiff and flat cardboard-cutouts, and regrettably, they feel that way in-game as well -- the strong voice acting helps mitigate this to some extent. I will never understand this art choice over the pixel art of the originals or the art of the remastered editions.
However, the real disappointment lies in the world-building and the story. The game leans heavily on nostalgia, and it works well enough to remain engaging to some extent. But beyond Guybrush and LeChuck, no one in this world seems to care about what's happening. They feel like relics, in a world that left them behind. What we are doing does not seem to matter. As a result, there is little to feel invested in.
And what little there is comes crashing down at the end, with yet another fourth-wall-breaking Thimbleweed-Park-style ending. Even worse, the ending seems unsatisfying by design, a regrettably consistent conclusion to a game that is mocking us throughout for still caring about the franchise. I get it, nothing is real and nothing matters.

The art style isn't the best, but the story is pretty good. Not as good as the first two, but still worth playing if you're a fan of the originals.

If you're not stuck on a nostalgia trip looking for the childhood sense of wonder you had when playing M.I.1 and 2 then this is a great Point and Click adventure game. I love pixel art and could complain about the style and look, but the dialogue, puzzles, sound, world, story, all hit clean as ever. Not to keen on the ending but i had a lot of laughs getting there.
