Simple point and click puzzle game. Synopsis not too great but acceptable. 10 chapter and play time is 2.5 hours. Language Simplified Chinese. Recommend for relax puzzle solver.

I really wanted to get into this VN, but it reads like it was written by a 15 year old. I don't know if that's just the translation or what, but it is super cringe from beginning to end. The story's relatively boring, too. It just never really picked up speed.

I love this mixture of Visual Novels and Point&Click/Escape Room games. You play as Gigi, a journalist who covers celebrity news, but her passion lies in crime stories. One day, she heard the news of a serial murderer, which police are still investigating. She became curious and decided to investigate the murders herself to write a story for her readers. Alas, this wasn't as simple as she expected as a fourth woman was murdered, and Gigi received a threatening letter. The choices of this game matter and have enormous consequences. You have relationship points with each major character, affecting how the story goes. There is a manual save that'd save you from repeating some of the parts, especially the QTE which were annoying, if you fail on them you'll be directly going to the main menu. Saving occasionally would be good; remember, you only have six slots, and this game has ten chapters and multiple side stories. Each chapter has an escape room puzzle where you have to collect items to solve something. You also have a journal with the victims' information, which you need to compare with one another to get some clues. You also need to collect money by either stealing or writing good stories and choose the title your boss would find good to get the promotion you are looking for. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3283408659 The photo gallery is beautiful, the artwork is good, and the characters are designed. You can collect those photos when your relationship is high with the other characters, or you take a route of a major story requiring you to reply to the game and change the choices. You can always skip previously read conversations. The characters are likable except for a few of them.
