I'm afraid that I have to change to a thumbs down.
First the pluses: it has a good selection of songs and the concept is good. I am, despite what follows, going to continue to play it!
However two major criticisms are:
First the real fun killer: Sometimes a song will slow down to a drone, which is a bummer if you are towards the end of a 30 minute journey. It does "un-drone" if you let it play for a few minutes, however I have had it drone twice for 2-3 minutes each time in a 30 minute journey (That is up to 20% of the play time), and it will drone every single 30 minute journey at some point. This fault really rubs ya taint after a while;
You can't pick a song, only 10, 20 or 30 minutes journeys (collect of songs), or use the randomiser - but that also does not tell you what songs you are going to get, only "pop", "rock", "indie" etc, or a mix of. So if you really dig a song - to bad. Hope it's at the start of a journey for you.
While Hitsteam is great for the fitness thing and getting a groove on, - the two major issues above - especially due to the droning - plus a few minor unlisted, ones means I can not recommends HS.
I think that if HS had a little work I'd give it a solid 8.
Note: The droning may be my system, Buy and see if it works for you, If not, refund.

This isn't the only fitness game I have, but it is definitely my favorite, by a long shot.
The environment is awesome, most of the songs are really good, it's an extremely good workout and really fun to play.
All other boxing type games that I have played are just one direction throughout the entire game. This one makes you turn in several directions. It's a very simple idea, but I think it really makes the game a lot better. No other boxing type game that I played does this.
The only things I would suggest if there's ever Hitstream 2 or even an update would be:
1. Be able to adjust the time increments. Going from 10 minutes to doubling that to 20 is kind of rough. Also, jumping from 20 to 30 minutes can be a bit much.
2. Be able to look at and change the scenery after playing the game. The backgrounds in this game are outstanding. It would be awesome after playing the game and cooling down to just be able to look at and change the background and just enjoy the scenery.
I definitely recommend this. It's a fantastic workout and it's fun at the same time.

Solid game. Played one stage and can instantly see the advantage over other fitness like games.
The only minor complaint I would have is that the hit objects are a bit to similar to swipe objects and is sometimes a bit difficult to distinguish.
Other than that, totally worth your money!

I'm in my early 60s just bought my first VR headset to help me get some exercise and do some PC gaming. I bought hit stream and I just love it. I can customize the gameplay so it's not super hard on my knees they aren't what they used to be. The backdrops and views are stunning and the premise of the game is simple enough for even an old fart like me to catch on.I have a few other rhythm games but this is the one I continually return to.

It's sad that this game has only one review at the moment. And it seems like I am the only one playing it right now. Maybe the second person who brought it. At least one of those 5 people who are registered in the top scores.
The game itself is quite a solid and polished experience with satisfying gameplay. This game delivers more than some other VR games. The music is ok - some techno mostly, but the beat position is very good. I like it. A nice change of experience from NeverDiscountSaber and Ragnarock.
More songs might be good, but... but... probably will never happen with sales like this. Not sure if it's a price issue or not, probably just no advertisement at all. But this game deserves some light!
