Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is a great game. The Campaign is so good, and there is replayability because of the Rewind Story feature. Multiplayer is classic, although you have to be aware of cheaters, and the zombies mechanics feel so good to play. This game was my childhood, and to have it back on steam after all these years brings back the memories of trying to play split-screen zombies on the PS3, only to be lagging massively because of the old hardware. Good times, and this game let me relive those.

I remember playing this when I was 12 and was blown away by Black Ops 2's story and setting, even now I still see it was one of my all-time favorites from that Era including WaW.
Multiplayer at the time was also something I really loved, I even worked my way up to get the Golden M1216. I don't think it'll get any better than this. In someway the game was prophetic, it predicted a fraction of 2025 in terms of civil instability, and a ever-evolving geopolitical landscape of today.
I love this game.

Best cod game in my opinion, thought there is a downside. The first strike force mission on veteran takes skill, knowledge and the virtue of patience. You will most likely rage on it.

I only play CoD for the singleplayer campaigns. This one's alright. Shooting is what you expect from a CoD, writing is just incredibly, aggressively, stupid. I'm struggling how to best convey this, but there's a lot of flashy stuff happening, and all of it feels like it's written by and for 15 year old boys - even more so than the average CoD.
The villain has incredible plot armor, physical prowess, is prepared for anything, and can get out of any situation. It becomes funnier the longer it goes on. There is some plot branching and multiple endings, but unfortunately the best ending requires you to play through real-time strategy missions where you play a disembodied commander that can possess its units. These missions are purely based on defense. None of them are fun, and most of them are quite hard.
Ultimately the set-pieces here are fun enough to justify the thing, but good god I've never felt such a strong sense of "Huh, you really can just write anything you want" (in such a negative sense) while playing a videogame before.

I love the OG cod games, used to play BO2 on the ps3 all the time and loved it. However, I find it outrageous that the price is 60 dollars. I got it on sale for 20 and that should be the normal price, especially because hardly anyone plays this anymore

Black Ops 2 = $100
DLC = $160
For a game released in 2012.

60 dollars for a 13 year old game. The game itself is good, but the price is actually crazy to me.
