this thing is outrageously loud and obnoxious and a lot of the exploration mechanics are really frustrating. i beat it because it was kind of funny to waste my time on but i can't really recommend anyone else does, this feels like it relies on shock value above any sort of interesting gameplay or story work

I enjoy a good ole "Video Nasty" once and a while, which is what "Deadly Night" serves up in spades. Lots of gore, polygonal nudity, and most importantly a great atmosphere. The game play features some decent lock and key puzzles but I found you have to be very specific on the mouse placement in order to use some items. The stealth aspect is also decent with the killer always being around leading to some tense moments. It is worth noting that a super computer the killer's AI is not, so expect a tiny bit of jank. I do recommend "Deadly Night" and enjoyed my time playing. 3/5
