Wow.
Okay, having played the original on Atari... This is kinda similar. But not really.
So, if you are looking for the return of the revenge of the titular Yar...It's kinda that. But again kinda not. You can eat the Shields so there is that.
That said, this is excellent. Arcade action. A variety of level designs all following the same basic core design concepts. Decent art and music. Over all, not bad at all.
Rarely do I say this but... I DO recommend this game.
The arcade nature makes it kinda short so take that under consideration.

Yars: Recharged developed by Adamvision Studios, SneakyBox and published by Atari has to be one of the best re-imagined version of Yar's Revenge I have played, this game is more than a revisit, it really it the legacy the game deserved in my opinion, this game offers a unique gameplay similar (but very different) from the original. This game offers the same achievements as most of the recharged games in this series, but I really think this is going to be a blast on my arcade cabinet, let alone on my computer where I am playing it at the moment.
