This game would normally probably be something i'd be into, it's way more polished then the first but even then it still feels like a quickly mashed together Smash clone that others SHOULD do better but don't. I am at a mix of both this game is bad and this game is better then others.
Just buy a Switch and play Smash if you REALLY need a fix.

While I wouldn't blame you if you passed on this initially because of the first games.................mixed reception, I would very much advise you at least look at this game, BECAUSE of the first games existence.
Because simply put, this game fixes every issue the original game had, plus even getting some features that even Smash hasn't gotten, such as Rollback netcode.
If you can find it on sale, I HIGHLY recommend this game
