1. No Mouse support in 2025 is just wild, i understand that the developers view controller to be the optimal way to experience the game, however for me it definetly isnt, i dislike playing on a controller and have several friends who dont even own one.
2. Resolution and FPS issues, this might be more related to my specific case but the game seems to be constantly clashing with my monitor or graphics card, it sonstantly tries to revert back to a resolution below 2000 and runs very poorly on fullscreen.
Overall cant recommend, might give it another try once mouse support is added
Flawed Hollow Knight clone with boring progression
And the level design doesn't make sense. Like everywhere you go, the room is full of "revisit here after you unlocked new ability". Exploration is not fun, might as well make this a linear stage-by-stage game.
ALSO, the game heavily rely on downward attack (the pogo mechanic) but refuse to make a proper tutorial for this. The game just place a random NPC to hint about it with a random spike path for a secret reward.
I played the previous demo and it was nice, I don't understand how the full release is so bad.

A solid metroidvania with a few weaknesses:
-I didn't like how the game would often lock you into a combat arena, especially when said combat arenas led to acquiring new abilities. I think it would have been better if all abilities were connected to some boss
-the biggest surprise of the game was when it was over. I didn't know that triggering a door would lead to a boss, and even then, I was surprised that it had just one phase. Maybe I didn't explore thoroughly enough (I netted some 60% completion and was able to lay waste to the final boss without much trouble).
Theming and story fell flat for me. I didn't care/remember any of the NPCs beyond their utility. Mechanics are solid. The one thing that did annoy me was that you need to wait a few frames after attacking if you want to dodge in the opposite direction. It didn't feel snappy, just something I had to get used to.
Final score: SOLID

From the Screenshots and Videos i expected a "Hollow Knight Lite" kind of game.
Because that is (in my eyes) what it tries to be.
But the combat is just not polished enough that i would want to countine.
Maybe if you can overlook the clunky combat/movement this game is for you but i am out.

Simply put, the game is fun. But it does feel like there wasn't too much love behind this one with how things just sort of happen and not everything feels truly connected or explained. Regardless, I still had a good time playing through the game.

Very combat heavy metriodvania, but the combat feels unpolished compared to Hollow Knight, which it seems to try to emulate.
Enemy hitboxes extend outside of the actual sprites as far as their contact damage, but the main weapon is super short range and seems to struggle to make contact even when the weapon overlaps the core of the enemies.
The character movement feels fairly stiff and the camera moves to match the character in a jerky way that instill motion sickness when you plummet after reaching the peak of your jumps.

Fully recommended.
There is a little jank in some of the animations for the MC... but otherwise this game was an excellent Metroidvania experience with a bit of a treasure hunter vibe for the late game achievements.
Quite lovely, and I'd play a sequel any time.

It is a bit slow to start.. pretty much exactly like every metroidvania.. but once you get going and get the hang of it.... that is when this really shines. the story is interesting and the level and character designs are all interesting. it feels a lot better once you start unlocking some of the movement skills. again.. like every metroidvania. at first i thought the movement was too slow and that you had to hit enemies too much and maybe that still might be true but again once you get the hang of it and start unlocking some of the movement abilities that takes care of a lot of the stuff. skills help with the hp spungy nature of the enemies but like with hollow knight you can do a but of bouncing with that downward strike and that really makes for satisfying victories when you do beat a really hard room... especially when you unlock a new skill from it. so all in all pretty good. i suspect i'm only just barely passed 50% map complete maybe 60%. the exploration speed really kicked up when you get 3 specific abilities.

it's one of those games that start really annoying but gets better once you get the upgrades, cooldowns and animations are a bit long tho, 7/10 overall
