The game has 72% on steam currently and let me tell you a better score never fit a game more perfectly. It's a generic metroidvania, with some heavy Hollow Knight inspiration. I enjoyed it. If you are looking for a decent metroidvania until a better one comes out, go for it. It's not expensive.

已经全成就 这游戏我觉得挺好玩的,类空洞不过很多设定,手感完全不一样的,有人说脚底抹油,开始确实,后来习惯就好了 100%真的很难找,要借助后期20个日记给的那个符文,地图有隐藏进地图会有提示,离隐藏点近了也会有心跳声 有两组互斥的成就,去攻略帖找存档,很快完成 初期可能引导比较弱,不知道干嘛,然后有很多道具可以skip,例如那个白色飞刀,可以横向无限下劈,还有一个虚空挂钩,很多能力之间也是可以实现相同横向、纵向位移的,那个迷雾团能力拿到,什么二段跳,爬墙什么的其实都不需要就能跑全图了,当然有了更好;我的建议就是照着攻略地图,优先拿全所有的技能,然后慢慢探索 硬核模式记得多备份存档,一周目100%了其他模式没有必要全收集,能力拿全,拿3个钥匙,6个紫色火台,就能通关拿成就了 几个NG+模式说下,因为初始全血全魔全符文全技能,其实前两个都不难,也是直奔主题,注意10个能力是没有的,要重新拿,之后就是3个要是6个紫色火台 第一个模式,伤害低了一点儿,敌人碰一下2血,总体不难,很快就推图过 第二个模式超级爽!法师模式,削弱平A,法术无限魔,真的超级爽!推荐大家2个技能,一个是固定火墙,打Boss必备,多练习一下因为会向前方一定距离放置火墙,这个用好了秒boss;还有一个是技能页面第一个,一个向前移动的火墙,威力超高,清屏神器,怪一片一片倒,如果一免火墙不够,那么就两面!火墙移动速度没有角色快,装上CD符文,可以实现几个火墙一起向前推进,神挡杀神!第二个模式真的超级超级超级爽! 第三个模式着重说下,感觉比硬核还硬核,怪碰一下就2血,boss技能碰一下4血,没有任何回血!死了减1血上限,加攻击,这个很绝望,血越来越少,比硬核还要小心!!!加的攻击非常不明显!!!我一路都是提心吊胆过来的 可能很多人会问,一直死一直死,会发生什么,我找遍互联网都找不到答案!!!只有自己实践!!!那么我来告诉你,最后会卡在5血不再减少了!为何是5?小怪3下,Boss2下,不会怀挡的放心!!!就算5血状态,攻击提升真的不明显!!! OK,总体非常喜欢游戏过程,我觉得不输给空洞,祝大卖,希望之后会有DLC,增加类似神居一类的,海库机器人后来也是这样的

I had a good time with this game. It's a Metroidvania through and through, with pretty tight controls, a good variety of enemies, boss fights of varying difficulty and a fair amount of upgrades and weapons to find. One of things that really stands out for me is the exploration. I just really enjoyed traversing the different biomes, gradually opening up the map and occasionally backtracking to access previously inaccessible areas. The art style also made the exploration very enjoyable. The different biomes have a well-defined identity, and your character looks pretty cool. It's a colorful game, but darkness is utilized in some clever ways to conceal secrets and the like. The music does a good job of enhancing the atmosphere in the different areas of the game, ranging from ambient, moody weirdness to explosive metal bangers, always appropiately suited to the current biome or boss fight. Apparently I was fortunate enough to play this game after the release of a balance patch that aimed to make the bosses more difficult. For me, the difficulty was spot on, just hard enough that most bosses gave me a bit of trouble and a few gave me a good amount of trouble. If there's a sore spot, it's the story. I just didn't really get it, to be honest. I liked the setting a lot, though - it's mysterious and strange, and there appears to be a lot of depth to the world, but since the narrative seemed a bit messy to me, I gave up on following it about half-way through. Maybe I'll be able to get more into it during a second playthrough, something I'm seriously contemplating because I want to see what the New Game+ can offer. All in all, this game surprised me and I'll wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who likes Metroidvanias that poses a decent challenge without being too difficult.

One of those games that seems to have an interesting premise but even in normal (lowest difficulty) the gameplay consists of dying over and over since you have to i-dodge through enemy lingering hitboxes and get hit anyways most of the time. Every special enemy or boss is a damage sponge even early in the game where the gameplay consists of the same 2 hitter spammed over and over and your "dodge." So you repeat the same two things ad nauseam. They shouldn't have made things that sturdy in my opinion until you have more moves to switch up the combat or make it more varied. Also I really do not enjoy games where you have to hold the jump button to get max jump height and EVERY ledge requires max jump height, a short jump is never beneficial--even during combat--so why have it? Its one of those relics from the past that makes things obtuse NOT more engaging. A billion collectibles including these white spheres that drop from enemies and bosses and tracked on your screen. Can I use them to upgrade something, or get skills, or equipment of some sort? Who knows? The game doesn't explain it and there is no experience gain or levels in this game. Even if you can't outright use the currency there should be an explanation of its relevance. I started to just skip enemies after a little bit, after all, you're risking taking damage before a boss to obtain some random currency that seems to do nothing. Don't know if the game gets better, not sure I'll revisit it either.

Do any of the basic enemies die? Does *anything* other than the player die? Did the devs just decompile Hollow Knight, slap some different sprites on it and call it new? Will edit once I get farther in, but I'm not even sure I'm going to finish this pile.

From the Screenshots and Videos i expected a "Hollow Knight Lite" kind of game. Because that is (in my eyes) what it tries to be. But the combat is just not polished enough that i would want to countine. Maybe if you can overlook the clunky combat/movement this game is for you but i am out.

I have mostly finished the game but I honestly have to say, I am not a fan. The movements feel clunky, there's like inertia or whatever that makes you fall of ledger way too easily. I didn't really understand what was going on but unlike other metroidvanias, it really bothered me to not get why I was killing those bosses or other things. Some boss fights seemed infuriatingly long. And from the beginning of the game to mid game I'd say, I felt particularly underleveled, that was really frustrating. But I still finished it so it's not a bad game, but there are better games out there.

I get why people say that the enemies are HP spongy, but the review sort of reek of "but my DM doesn't DM like Matt Mercer" So far, my biggest complaint, is that "secondary progression" in the first 2 hours is basically 0, I've found one "item" and lots of currencies, otherwise, as HP tanky as the normal enemies can sometimes be, the bosses are fine, and as much as the hitboxes might not be perfect, they're really not that bad. This game is one where I think if you just play it don't fight it, it works fine. It's not going to make any GotY lists, but it doesn't need to. EDIT: Having beaten it, not real change in opinion, it evens out over time, the bosses are all varied, interesting, and fun, even if not perfectly polished Biggest issue here is that it took all the worst things from Hollow Knight in terms of how to do exploration and finding. Things are just needlessly hidden. Doing a post game 100%/True Ending pass, it's tedious, and with the minimalistic map style means you really have to scrutinize to find all the stuff, but it didn't really cause any issues other than toward the 100% ending collections. Thankfully, the compendium (silently, read it somewhere else) lists what's in each region so you have a completion percent. Game's fine, just imperfect
