So… it’s better than you might expect, but not perfect. Yeah, it’s got that Marvel style humor. I get it. But it does improve later on. Still not flawless, but like Marvel, it kept me entertained. If the setting isn’t a dealbreaker for you, grab it on sale and give it a shot. You’ll know within an hour if it clicks or not. Personally, I enjoyed it more than the internet seems willing to admit.

The story and characters so far 6 hours in aren't interesting or fun. The gameplay really just feels like magic guns, and reminds me of lichdom battlemage which I played way back in 2012. Enemy AI is pretty braindead and just wasn't really enjoying it. Maybe it gets better? But unfortunately the myriad of issues I had with the game prevent me from continueing. Random hard crashes during load screens, abysmal DLSS performance, FSR performance terrible, Frame Gen almost guaranteeing crashing during load screens, and all of a sudden my game is now locked to 3840x2160 (I have a 3440x1440) monitor and looks stretched and terrible. WHILE still running terrible to boot (9900k, 4070TI Super, 32G DDR4).

Could have been a good title, but constant crashes even after hours of troubleshooting have led me to drop this all together as it has rendered the game unplayable. Due to that, I cannot recommend this even on sale.

This Game is just bang average, Story is mid, gameplay is mid, graphics are mid, this Is the most mid game I've ever played, DO NOT buy this at full price anything above £10 is a waste of money.

This game had real potential, but really started to drag in the latter half of the campaign. I got really tired of fighting generic minion blue/red/green after the first 3 hours.

This game is getting a lot of unnecessary hate. Does it reinvent the wheel? No. Is it fun? Yes. This is this studios first game... show them some love. Let me break this down for you. This game is Doom 2016/Eternal set in a Sci-fi realm of Magic very similar to that of Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. You run around basically wearing a triple soul caster on your arm. The game is fun, the puzzles are neat and sometimes difficult. Personally, if on sale... this is a GREAT title to snag up. Thats what I did and I don't regret it one but. Its beautiful, its fun, its... a good polished game. Just nothing AMAZING about it.

This game is genuinely fun. If you want a more fantasy-esque version of Doom, this will satisfy. Pros +Good level design +Fun combat +Varied weapons and enemies +Environments are fun to explore and look at +Music is good Cons -Story is predictable and boring -Puzzles are pretty brain dead -Characters are two dimensional and cringe -The writing is a travesty This game had all the potential to be a really great game, but my god, this is some next level millennial writing. It's the kind that makes you roll your eyes so hard you'll see out the back of your skull. You will enjoy everything else about this game, but the dialogue will have you jamming a pencil into your ears.

People described this game like it was fantasy call of duty or that it was particularly short, both incorrect! Format wise its alot like the modern doom games, especially Doom Eternal, semi open areas, secrets, challenging side content. The builds and gear system felt important enough for gaining an edge in the story missions that I always felt compelled to interact with it fully. and as far as story goes it was very Star Wars in the best possible ways. Good game! only gripe is performance but they just got rid of denuvo and that helped a little bit. Check it out!

Gameplay is fun. Level design is pretty good with metroidvania elements. Traversal is enjoyable and there's some ok light environment puzzles. The video game part of this video game is enjoyable. And I'm recommending the game because of this. Pick it up in a sale. It's a good game for 15 bucks or less. The story, writing and characters however... oh boy, this is some of the worst garbage. The gung-ho military bravado fits ill in a fantasy game and the quippy Marvelesque dialogue will have you reaching for the mute button very fast. The art direction is a mixed bag. I generally liked the environments, but the armor and weapon designs are some 90s graphics card box art crap - shiny and ugly. Sound design is generally quite good.

A very videogamy videogame. love it. now without Denuvo but with DLSS 4 + FSR framegen mod is a great time to play this game just wait for a sale.
