This game does a great job of making you feel like a real soldier. The graphics are top-notch, the sound design is immersive, and the campaign is packed with intense moments. However, the biggest downside is that the campaign is too short it ends just when you're really getting into it. The gameplay feels smooth, the effects are realistic, and the character animations are well done. It’s a solid comeback for the series. Multiplayer is still enjoyable, but cheaters are a big issue. If the developers put more effort into anticheat measures, it would be a much better experience. Despite that, it’s a great game overall and worth playing.

Bought this game on sale to play the campaign. Had the same still unresolved "inappropriate username" issue as many others. Don't buy this game unless you're sure that your username won't be arbitrarily flagged by activtion's garbage. Why must I be online before I get to even the main menu anyway????? Was looking forward to playing this but oh well. Refunded.

Multiplayer is pretty fun... but oh my hell there are so many hackers. I played three matches on quickplay and tried a couple ground wars. Probably played around 5 matches total. Only one match didn't have hackers (on the other team anyway.. pretty sure one of my teammates was hacking though because they got 85 kills in a 10-15 min game) The last match I played there were 5 aimbotters on the opposing team.... all of them level 1001, blatantly aim locking through walls and smoke and camping spawn. No thanks. Refunded. F*cking hackers need to get a life.

Bought this one and black ops cold war on sale. I love having to download half the internet's worth of data, then spend hours troubleshooting a bunch of random issues witch launchers and accounts and controllers.

The only reason for a negative rating - Not being able to even open Campaign or anything without internet connection. For a franchise like Call of Duty, that is bad, because they lose our trust by doing that. I wanted to buy more COD games at sale, but I don't wanna risk not being able to play it in the future if Activision decides to shut down servers or if my internet connection gets unstable. I am sure they get lots of refunds due to this reason. Very disappointed. About the game: Awesome Campaign

One of the best COD games I've ever played. Campaign missions that included night vision & stealth approach like Clean House, The Wolf's Den & Going Dark on realism difficulty were some of the most immersive experiences I've ever had in a COD game.

Campaign is just too good. Multiplayer is kinda sweaty but its ok

Every time I try and play the game I get stuck on a screen that tells me my username is inappropriate and I need to change it. I can't change my username because I don't have any "rename tokens" so I have no way to get past the screen.

the gameplay is amazing but its full of hackers and sweats. would not recommend for new players
