I'm surprised that the servers were active players and they were great! Even though I didn't understand a bit cuz of all the explosions it's great! Thanks everyone in the server trying to teach me how to play XD

I don't what it is about this game but I've never really liked it. It has nothing to do with its age, I've logged many hours in Half-Life Deathmatch and Sven Coop but TFC just never clicked with me.

If you play with some sort of bot mod the game is fun. but multiplayer is dead i only found 3 servers and all 3 where very laggy and had a bunch of rude players so i wouldn't recommend multiplayer

I'm writing this review in the wee hours, early in the morning. So early in the morning it is indistinguishable from the night time it followed. I want to bring you back, harken if you will, to the days of the Classics. Back in the day, things were just so much more classic. Just think about the days of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Styx, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Bad Company, Free, Midnight Oil, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Guns And Roses, and so many classic bands. Classics like that dominated every aspect of life. This game is just like that. It is the Led Zeppelin of video games. I don't think you can get much more classic than Team Fortress Classic. The only other contender for most classic video game is Deathmatch Classic, but that classic game is so classic it deserves an entirely separate review. An all-time classic.

Coming back to this after 25 years, TFC is still a blast. It's not deep mechanically, but that's the charm of retro games. So, if you are looking for neon weapon skins, emotes, playing as [insert current flavor-of-the-month pop idol here], or other modern FPS bloat, you will be disappointed. There's a hundred or so daily regular users so you never need to play against bots, thank god.

I love this game but I can't recommend it over TF2. The multiplayer is dead, theres almost nothing compared to TF2 and it does cost money unlike TF2.

I really don't like this game would just recommend TF2 its free and it's better I'm quite confused on when an enemy uses what looks to be a med kit on me it apply some type of poisoning effect on me that would end with me dying regardless of what I did its like having STDs in 1800s you're just f*cked player collision is also annoying this was the final nail in the coffin for me so I deleted the game because my teammates kept sitting in the doorways in spawn and I couldn't leave it because they had their fat a*ses blocking the doorways i'll play it again probably in the future I just don't like it it's not my type of game it's not a bad game It's just not my type of game

I would leave a negative review, but I don't want to hurt the TFC community any more than they already have been. I only managed to play on a server once, as this game is sometimes pretty barren. It does not have the same level of balance, community, and content that TF2 has, so it is inherently less interesting (as well as having a price to entry instead of being F2P). So yeah, TF2 is just an inherently better version of TFC, and only get this game in the Valve games bundle. If this game was more popular, I'd be more interested in playing this game, but it's just not.
