The price is steep, and there's definitely a bit of jank still in the game, but I am actually really enjoying my time with the game so far. The combo system is simple but satisfying, the game has an old school charm, and the characters are varied.
The Training Menu is now actually in the Training match, so you can adjust as needed without backing out.
I'd definitely give the game a go if it ever goes on sale, and I hope the developer isn't discouraged from either updating the game or fixing it in a sequel because there is something special here
