Game is full of hackers and hardcore sweats, its impossible to play if your new to the franchise

waste of money even if it's on sale, the damn game wont even load up to the main menu, crash as soon I see the intro, would like a refund. worst $20 ever spent

I bought this game years after release so my experience only pertains to the campaign and zombies mode. The campaign is gritty, dark with a pretty decent story imo. Adler is a very compelling character as a man who works in the grey (and sometimes in the black) and I loved the addition of a safe house area between missions. This area lets you interact and learn more about your companions and that did wonders for elevating this campaign. Zombies I did entirely coop with my best friend, and we slowly went through and did the major Easter Eggs for each map, except for Outbreak since my friend's game would always inevitably crash by world 4, which sucks since that map was honestly a lot of fun. Apart from that, I have no complaints since I found the gamemode to be really clean with pretty good maps, strong guns and mini-bosses that weren't too annoying to deal with. Would I recommend this game in 2025? If you're interested in the campaign only, then it would have to be a really deep sale. For zombies mode? Again, a sale would be best but it's still such a worthwhile zombies game to experience.

Graphics , colours and textures are really good. Animation, physics gun sound ok. major issue is matchmaking time is too long because of less players.

i wasted 41 fucking minutes of my life to wait for the cod server connection than playing the actual game, i tried to retry over 8 times and restarted the pc itself but its not working, do not buy it its a waste of money and time

This game bans players and restricts matchmaking for no clear reason. If you contact Support, they’ll just tell you they can’t do anything because it’s out of their hands, and you have to wait an unknown amount of time for your account status to change. The system lacks transparency, and players are left without any explanation or fair appeal process.

The BEST modern CoD game (I might be glazing it mainly since it's like the most recent CoD I've played when it came out lol, and I haven't played the newer CoDs yet well except Vanguard, and MW2022. I haven't played BO6 yet but eventually I will cuz the zombies lowkey look fun, It's literally just Cold War zombies but better. And tbh I mainly play CoD for their zombies now lol. I also wanna try MWZ.) I wish ts was playable on the steam deck. Too bad they'll never do anything about supporting Linux cuz y'know Microsoft lol. Either way 8/10 CoD game other than Black ops 3 workshop support best.

Continuing my chronological playthrough of COD franchise i must say i enjoyed this one as well. The story is interesting with a cool twist. The audio and visuals are great and while the game is short , most people play it for the multi player (which i didnt touch). A lot of action in the campaign, and while it was not as action packed as some previous titles, it still had its moments.

zombies constantly crash within an hour of playing, which ruins the fun of trying for long rounds.

I'm sure it's fun, but I've spent more time getting this game to actually run than be able to play. 40 ish minutes in and random crashes... I must be getting old but call of duty used to be fun and not... whatever this is.
