Not for me. The idea of getting and upgrading defences, minions, heroes, etc. is interesting, and in the beginning the game can be enjoyable. But once you get all the basics, and the game starts just throwing "the same enemy but higher level" as a challenge, and you realise that the path to improvement is just grinding gold to upgrade things over and over, you ask yourself a question.
Is the combat fun?
No. It's not. It's slow, it's clunky, it's inaccurate. So why would I grind for gold to upgrade all my stuff over and over when I'm not enjoying the basic game play combat loop? I won't. Bought it on sale, enjoyed learning the basics, but ultimately uninstalled after 6-7 hours and don't see myself ever returning.
