Haven't try long enough but I really like the parry system since I came from a hack n slash player so a reaction based mechanic is welcomed. Still having trouble with juggling between 4 exemplar, but parry help me t stay alive. Still want to know more about the gameplay depth and story so I'll stick around ^^

Enjoying the game so far. A clever mixture of Valkyrie Profile-style combat in Rowena's sideand political scheme in Lucien's, with branching plot affected by your choices, all in a setting of dark fantasy. A very enjoyable game... if it weren't for a glitch that isn't game-breaking but it's annoying and can potentially keep you from getting trophies: in some of the mini-tutorials where you learn new moves or magic, monsters are misplaced, so some zone attacks can't hit the monsters. Since you need to kill the monsters with those new moves, the tutorlal can never be cleared and you can't learn the moves. So far it has happened with three moves: Burgundy's Fulminating Gold, Jacquine's Whirlpool and Rowena's Formless Void, but I suspect it will happen with any zonal attack that doesn't hit zones 3 and 4. It's a glitch as simple as it's annoying, and somehow gives the feeling that developers didn't even care to run the minimal game testing. So, I'm downvoting the game until a patch is released to fix this.

As a player you're not passively waiting your turn to come by, you can still deflect the attack from enemies which
I think is a nice feature for a turn based game like this. The stage is linear and quite straight-forward which means you don't get to explore the environment much, tho you do get nice battle and up until this stage, it still feels engaging for me.
This game also wins my heart for it's visual, I really like the character design and the environment in general. The animation is also pretty fluid.
Overall a great game and definitely worth for people that like JRPG games.
