Good, funny writing in a short, succinct story.

I think that it is not worthy the money spent given how short it is and how linear it is. However it has some humour and made me smile a couple of times.

Alright. Robotherapy is done and dusted. This is a visual novel with a couple super lite shooter sections, focused on the mental health of robots after killing all humans.

You play as Smokes, a delusional megalomaniacal robot who decides he is going to be a robotherapist, and the best one in the world at that. Although he is really about as bad a therapist as you could be, lol. And so anyway, that's what he does. He becomes a robotherapist. A decision he makes while sitting at a cafe. Early on, he meets another robotherapist named Back, who becomes a mentor to Smokes despite Smokes of course acting as if he doesn't need one. Smokes begins taking clients. First a robot named Quantum, then a robot named Whatever. And he also meets a robot named R, whose idea it was to kill all humans to begin with. Throughout the game, while Smokes (and Back) are treating Quantum and Whatever, it really ends up with Smokes receiving some inadvertent treatment himself. And there is of course a big reveal towards the end that has the other robots rallying to help Smokes out.

In my opinion, what this game really does well is present mental health issues in a way that treats mental health issues not as something everybody can understand and identify with, but simply as what they are, with no recrimination or people feeling a need to act as if they can identify with said problems. And yet, I think the real message is that you really aren't alone even if you have to be willing to address these issues yourself. IDK. I'm not somebody who identifies with these issues on a personal level, but I think being open to learning about them is important. And the comedy presentation is effective in my opinion.
And so, with that in mind, the dialogue is funny and witty, with a lot of banter, some fourth wall breaking, and a couple other characters that fill out the roster and the game. The graphics and audio are simplistic, but effective in enhancing the game. And I think the developer really had some fun making this game. It shines through.

This is an enjoyable experience. And it's currently 50% off at the time of this review, bringing it down to $2.49, which is a very accessible price. The entire game is only a little more than an hour long, making it not much of a commitment. I'd say it's worth a look.
