'Zhazari VR' is a pretty generic indie sword swinging game that sees you fighting countless, ever spawning monsters and trying to do the odd task along the way. There is no story here, no narration, just monsters and more monsters. While I liked the look of some of the monsters they do all have terrible animation. There are 4 areas to explore, but everything is pretty basic and every enemy can be killed with a simple wave of the sword while holding down the right trigger button to constantly heal yourself. There is no magic, no upgrades and no matter what sword you use they all do the same thing (which is nothing).
What lets this game down the most is the lack of content. I personally finished 3 of the 4 worlds in 30mins and I was messing around a lot! If this was a fraction of its current price I might have given it a thumbs up, but there is DEFINITELY nothing here worth £19.32. If you see it in a sale for £5 or less it might be worth a go, but even at that price you still have the dull gameplay to contend with. There is no joy to the action, no strategy needed, no fun, no matter how big the creatures are. It's an OK effort I guess, but it simply isn't worth the asking price, not even close.
