It ran good at first, and now them they patches it now it is hot mess. I could not recommend it to no one. PC or PSVR2 I run it on both.

I really enjoyed my play through of the game my only major complaints are the guns can feel a bit peashootery and the ending was lame but overall I really enjoyed my 5 hour play through

Graphics are great but you need a good PC to run at the highest settings. I am using a Razer Blade RTX4080 laptop and still could only run at high settings.
This game really knows how to create atmosphere and environment to give you a chill and keep you on the nerve. It will surely give a horrifying experience just like Alien Isolation. In terms of making players terrified, this game did a much better job than other great AAA horror games like Alyx (even though Alyx is an all-around better game).
The weapon-handling is bad. The rifle fires like a water gun. And when you try to use revolver single-handed, the accuracy is ridiculously bad which makes no sense. The reload speed is low. If you're used to arcade style shooters like Arizona Sunshine, the slow-paced reload procedure can annoy you, even though the slow reload does make the fighting more strategic and scary.
Finally, in my region Alyx is at 80 Aussie dollars and this game being 58 dollars I'm totally okay with that. It's not as well-made as Alyx but also not bad, either. Even scarier than Alyx. I found many comments complaining about game being super buggy but my game run just fine.
Looking forward to part 2.

Game played on the Quest 3 using a link cable. I found the experience to be intense, atmospheric and interactive. One of the interactive parts in the game that really impressed me was approaching a monitor screen covered in blood. I was like how am I to read this screen until I was like let me used my hand to wipe this off and lo and behold that worked. Great fun game, and not one crash or game stutter either. The only little issue I had at times in movement/combat when reaching/grabbing from my torso area for something was my body would be twisted which took me a bit to figure it out was just hold down the controller button to reset my posture making everything fine again.

This is not a great game.
You will fight its VR implementation. Get lost in terrible design. Be bored by enemies.
Generally just wonder why they bothered. And frankly -- they gave us half a game.
Hard to recommend, unless you find it on a deep deep sale. And I'd probably wait longer for the bugs to be ironed out, though I suspect -- you cant really patch bad design.
Granted, the visual design is pleasing in places. But, never have i been so underwhelmed to shoot aliens.
It's a VR 5/10 but a flat screen 3.

Absolutely let down by Survios. Again. Promises of after launch support. Promises of a road map. Promises of a Patch. The game is practically broken on PC. Their discord server has nothing but people asking for a response and the ONLY thing they post ever is that they won't fix this game but here's the NEW game? These guys can kiss my butt. No more money for them. They left Walking Dead Saints and Sinners in shambles at the end. And never fixed it. And now they are doing the same thing for this game. Survios is a hack studio who is given franchises WAY over their head.
This game could have been great. But it's a turd because of the bugs. And we aren't talking Xeno's. End Transmission.

One of the best VR games I've played. I enjoyed this game as much as I enjoyed Alien Isolation.
This game is being downvoted by others for 2 reasons. 1. They divided the story in 2 parts and this ends in a cliffhanger. Nevertheless it still took me 14hrs so this is a full lenght game.
2. High system reqs and some lagging in some areas. I played this on a 3070ti laptop and it still lagged in some places. I also had several occasions where the game was stuck in a lag spike and I had to reboot my laptop. Most of the time it was fine though.
Overall I still had a blast playing this.

[i]Certainly this is well thought out in terms of voice, story, "graphics" and you get the vision. Thus guns are okey, at times fun, but mostly sluggish. Well gameplay? it's weird how they can port it mobile and at the same time can't optimise it for a med-tier pc. If you never played Alien Isolation and did not know of this franchise with running gooses, you better be buying something more polished first.[/i]

This is half baked... buggy with inconsistent enemy AI, even after patches. It simply is not fun to play.
This is a shame, as the atmosphere and feel is spot on.
A flat screen version and the upcoming part 2 makes me think that this offering may not improve, but that is just conjecture.
