Love the move and kill cams in this game along with the intense cover system and moral. Maps really have character feeling very different depending on the setting where city fighting for tanks can be pretty treacherous compared to fighting in the fields. Voice acting is also great for its natural feel which goes great with the epic heroic feel of the music giving a common men's struggle to everything. Its great to be able to call in reinforcements as well things like air, artillery and ship bombardments. Oh yea and can't forget the moral boost with the rally call.
The new ARDENNES DLC is fun from the first scenario i played feeling very balanced. Definitely made use of a ton of smoke cover due to all the enemy units waiting to ambush incoming friendlies.
HEADQUARTERS: WORLD WAR II, Buy it! Play it! Feel the earth shaking thrill of combat and hear the thunderous roar of battle as bullets fly and armored steel crushes all with treads and cannons blasting magnificence!
Oh and check out Zilla Blitz on Youtube who just covered the game and many other incredible tabletop and digital war games.

An overall great game: But I feel the camera controls still a bit "quirky" , but this can be worked out. Plus, I think we need some REAL German speakers instead of the British accented voices .

This game is definitely a dream come true for me. I'm a big fan of games like John Tiller games and the Strategic Mind series. So when I saw the Strategic Mind guys were making a game that is more tactical I was excited. Most turn based games like this have bare minimum graphics. This is serviceable. Not AAA but not 90s graphics either.
AI is competent. They will go after your strongest Assets. I mostly been playing the Campaign and its tough but not unfair.
This game is nothing like Xcom. Its not an Xcom game. Its like Battle Academy with upgraded graphics.
They improved on voice acting from the bad voice acting in the Strategic Mind Series. So I have great hopes on the project for the future. Also they are releasing plenty of DLC.
Lot of negative reviews seem to be from people having issues with multiplayer. I don't play multiplayer so cant comment on that but this company usually responsive and give constant updates. So a few gamers are mad its not updated when they want it to, even though the developers are making this game in a warzone and their crying in the comfort of their safe homes. So please take that into consideration when looking at negative versus postive reviews on this game.
