Shows promise but feels like its going to underwhelm. Feels thin. The game should aim to be like the transition that occurred on the Amiga between Speed ball and Speed ball 2 BD, however it just feels like a 3d Speed ball 2; we have seen this before. Try harder.

improvement in a few key areas to better reflect the intensity of the sport. Tackle Sound Effects – Right now, tackles sound soft and lack the impact you’d expect from a brutal, high-speed sport. A more aggressive, bone-crunching sound design (similar to modern contact sports games or arcade brawlers) would enhance the experience. Adding variations to the tackle sounds could also prevent them from feeling repetitive. Metal Ball Sound Effects – The ball itself sounds dull and lacks the weight and sharpness you’d expect from a heavy metal object being thrown at high speed. It would be great to hear a more distinct metallic clang, thud, or ricochet when it bounces, hits walls, or makes contact with players. This would add to the visceral nature of the game. Half-Time & Full-Time Titles – The current presentation of these moments feels a bit basic and lacks the dramatic flair that would match the game’s fast-paced, futuristic aesthetic. More dynamic visuals and sound cues (such as a stadium announcer, crowd reactions, or intense music stingers) would help make these moments feel more rewarding. General Audio Balance – Overall, the mix could use some tweaking to make key actions (like tackles, passes, and goals) more prominent while maintaining an immersive stadium atmosphere. I think with these improvements, Speedball 25 could feel even more intense and immersive. Hope this helps, and looking forward to seeing how the game evolves! there's no ratings out of ten but I give it a 6 out 10 . but for now its a thumbs down

A new Speedball game? Take my money! What's here looks and sounds reminiscent of the previous titles. Gameplay is hectic and fun.Not encountered any bugs so far. Roadmap looks good. Devs. Any chance of a top down view?
