I'm a number go up gamer these days, what can I say. I have to be conscious of when I keep this game installed on my computer/when I keep my Deck around so I don't just disappear into it.

This game is the game that inspired hundreds of 2D roguelikes. Start playing and you'll understand why : the amount of possible combination you can get without even counting the DLC's is just crazy. The game can be easily bought on discounts for around 3 bucks while offering more that 30 hours of gameplay to mess around or around 50 to 100% the main game and get all the secrets. Do not get discouraged with the few characters you have at first : your progression is exponential. Honestly one of the most satisfying and fun games I have ever played. If this review does not convince you to play this game, well, too bad for you, you will miss one of the most influential and interesting masterpieces on steam.

Progress in the beginning is a little slow but it so quickly changes then even with just the base game you have so many combos of weapons, passives, and characters that hours of fun. my favourite thing is that if you have the mobile version of the game you can create a cloud save so you can play on the go then reload it on steam when you get back to a computer. The DLC is really cheap and adds quite a lot more to the game so is absolutely worth it also if you need any extra help then wiki are available to help guide you with what to pair to evolve weapons or what to do for unlocking something but I would recommend not looking that up straight away as mixing and matching things not knowing if it will work is tons a fun.

You know how there's a myriad of warnings during commercials for medicines about prolonged usage leading to potential addiction? Vampire Survivors could totally do that but in a good way and totally without the wall of other side effects that will kill you or turn you into a vegetable or have loved ones planning your funeral. I mean who wouldn't want to open up a treasure chest in this game with full on power ups, evolutions for your weapons, and fat bags of gold as opposed to your stiff old self in a casket?

While the gameplay is relatively simple it is very addictive. The music is great, the gameplay loop is engaging, the graphics are charming. There is so much content, characters, upgrades, secrets, weapons, levels, etc. It can get a little old after 200 characters, but each character comes with new weapons and/or relics. Rating: 1000 Monsters out of 0 Vampires

This game is inexpensive, starts simple, becomes surprisingly complex, and is incredibly addictive. Better yet, the developers are awesome human beings, and seem to truly love their fans. They are what gaming companies should be, people who do what they do because they love it!

Havent seen an oncoming level of addiction like this since I got a taste for opioids. Amazing game.
