I cannot physically state how fun this game was to play. Open world horror is a rare treat to come across, and this one ticked off all the boxes for me. Charles being an ever looming threat really added to the creepy atmosphere of the game. That feeling of dread when I heard Charles' air horn in the background was perfect. That being said, it was a little frustrating when I would be travelling to a location, only to be forced into a detour to fight Charles, and after the fight find myself on the wrong side of the map to reach my objective. Still, the battles with Charles were VERY fun, and I always looked forward to them when I felt prepared. The final boss was cool as well, but maybe a little over-tuned for players who didn't 100% complete the game. Regardless, the world design was beautiful, the on foot stealth segments were GREAT, and the soundtrack was on point. 9.5/10 for me.

Thomas the train took a weird turn at Albuquerque and became a serial killer. No more "I think I can" and more of "bet I will". As horror goes, its a really fun, shorter story. Not your typical jump scare fest, but more atmospheric and ominous. Overall I really enjoyed it and interested to see if they add to this story line.

Choo-Choo Charles is wild, creepy, and weirdly fun.
You’re out here fighting a bloodthirsty spider-train named Charles with a machine gun strapped to your own little train. What more could you want? The open-world exploration is cool, the atmosphere is creepy in the best way, and the tension when Charles shows up? Chef’s kiss — pure chaos.
The game definitely has that indie jank charm — it's not perfect, and some of the missions feel repetitive. But honestly? The concept alone carries it.
It’s short, it’s strange, it’s scary. 7.5/10 — Worth it for the experience.
Just… don’t play it alone at night with headphones on. Trust me.

It's quite alright for what it is.
The 'chase-distance' for some enemies is a bit inconsistent as well as the controlls and especally the aiming is janky.
The chasing scenes for charles is 'special' in its own kind of ways I guess, been chased only three times now but everytime my train lost all health even when all three stats were at level 8 and my shots were as prescise as they could've been with all the camera shake.
HOwever it is extremly easy to find scraps as they're quite literally everywhere and teh rewards for quests are quite gernerous.

I've just finished the game and wanted to thank the developers! What a wonderful game they made. It's just like these cool B-movies from my childhood. They are not trying to pretend AAA and make the best from what they have! And this game does exactly the same!! Take a banch of game cliche and make fun of them, add some quate cool gameplay and here it is the perfect game for couple of days! I love it!! Strongly recommend it to all who tired from modern giant boring game!! Try this one, it will give you 3 hours of jokes, laugh, fun-gamepley and cool story about spider-train. All you were dreaming about!!

awful boss fight. Tap the guns at his head specifically the flame thrower and just play time. If you play it any other way then its ridiculous. Awful game design.

Almost $20 USD is simply not worth it. I finished it in just under 2 hours, there is no real replay value. A very basic bare bones game worth $10 USD and below. The memes and the funny/horrifying train Choo Choo Charles' design/art are good, but the game simply isn't. ONLY BUY ON SALE, if you really want to play this.
