Playtime: 746 minutes

First off, I heard the dialog on Chines, when to settings and there is only subtitles. I then got discouraged by this but decided to give it a couple of more minutes because of how amazing the graphic and action battle is... glad I did! Game is fantastic! Yes it takes time to adjust, but I can't discouraged others when I am genuinely enjoying the visual and the boss fights. I rather have this graphics than the 8bits and 16bits games that are coming out this days, as I find then lazy on the art work... we don't live in the 80s and 90s! If developers wants an 16bit graphic for retro, it should be a game like this (amazing graphics) and then given the option for a 16bit look, like doom Eternal has. To the developers and artist who make this game.... continue with the amazing work, and continue making game like this. If more games like this continue popping up from your team, you guys will definitely have a bunch of buyers.

Games like this live and die by how crisp and responsive the combat system is. Here it's clunky, and altogether plain frustrating.

As a fan of the metroidvania / 2D platformer genre, I actually quite liked this game. Now, don't get me wrong, the story is pretty bad but when it comes to platformers, I usually zone out anyway. Like a few others in its class, its not going to re-write any rule books but if you are new to the genre and working your way up to the big guns like Hollow Knight or Aeterna Noctis, then this is great launching platform. Not too difficult, interesting combat, tried and tested powers and a half decent map so whats not to like. If you are a platformer veteran and are currently thinking about playing this to fill the void between now and whenever Lucis or Silksong release then maybe I can sympathise with some of the negative reviews, but for me, its been a while since I've jumped around a map like this and really enjoyed it.
