This is a story the man name Stanley. Stanley loves closets and his Bucket. Stanley doesn't like the four-hour child rescue game. The narrator likes to write Tolstoy's monologues and feel handsome at the expense of Kivan Brighting. Stanley ignores him, he only listens to the Bucket. I love this game, 10 buckets out of 10

The broom closet ending was the best. I give this game 10/10 broom closets.
The end is never the end. The end is never the end. The end is never...

im glad that they increased the overall sex appeal of the main character. in the original version, stanley was a bit dumpy and unrefined. in this new version, i have to resist the urge to lick my screen simply due to how scrumptious he looks. exquisite. 10/10

As someone who never played but heard great things about the original 2013 Stanley Parable I was very curious to give the "Ultra Deluxe" edition of the game a whirl (especially after getting it on sale!) and I got one of the most unique, complex and personal experiences I have ever had with a video game in my entire life.
Since I hadn't played or seen much of actual SP game-play at length before most of initial playtime was spent just playing through (what I thought) was just the regular/original release. I was enjoying the play-though, the narrator and the broader commentary about player choice in video games. Every decision I made, even with the game constantly reinforcing their own meaninglessness, felt like it was all part of the larger narrative. All the commentary, the gags and the insights (in addition to some fun mechanics) made for what I considered to be an overall 8/10 experience. With two standouts being the Broom Closet and Confusion endings in particular.
But then everything changed the moment I walked through the door labeled "New Content" - The next 5 or so hours took everything about the first game and improved it multiple times over. All the commentary on the UD and the ensuing new game that followed really showed the difference in maturity of the game's development team. If the original game's theme was about how player choice and the nature of free will in video games are contradictory mechanics than the bonus content's themes can best be summed up as "death of the author but he's not happy about it" -- The sequel content of this game makes it all come to the surface, the bucket, the new "gags" and the epilogue are all set out on telling a completely different story. A meditation on what it means for an artist to truly let go of their work after it's completion and who is really to blame for hollow products. One of the games endings in particular (I think it was the one where you're on the ceiling watching the credits, apologies I forgot the name) really hammers this point home in a guttural way and shines a light on the symbiotic relationship between artist and consumer.
Overall, TSPUD is one of the most profound, clever and enlightening experiences I have ever had with a video game, But I didn't think the narrator was that funny. idk maybe he should watch an instructional video about telling jokes or something

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is one of the best games I’ve played in a long time. It doesn’t just make you think about the video game industry—it also explores the deep connection between an artist and their work. The storytelling is both brilliant and thought-provoking, taking me from laughter to tears in an instant. If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. To me, it’s worth every penny.

Lovely game, I enjoyed playing it. Each ending has its unique vibe and I'm all for that, but I do wish there were more endings. If you're looking to buy the game, I say go ahead and do it as this game is truly an experience.

I absolutely adore this game. It's my favorite of any game I've ever played, in fact. Witty commentary, an insane amount of endings and dialogue, a whimsically delightful narrator . . . What more would a game need? I honestly don't have the right words to express myself and my sheer love and appreciation for this game, it's concept, everything about it, and everything relating to it. but I'll do my best. I used to watch play throughs of this, of every single ending, every single dialogue, dreaming to one day obtain it for myself and having gotten hyperfixated on it various times. Then, a good friend bought it for me. I played it on the day I got it, then later, a while later. I take long breaks from it because I like to really think about the chunks of it that I see, about what more to do, any other achievements to obtain (I don't let myself look at the achievements section for extra difficulty remembering what to do lol). But yes, this is it, the best game. If you like your narrators with a cherry and some extra drama sprinkled on top, this might be the best game for you, too :)
But TL;DR?
" This is the story of a man named Stanley. "

The Stanley Parable is a timeless classic, and this version monopolized on the classic themes very well. With so much rewarding, new content, how is this game not more popular? #theendisnevertheend
As he read the words in the comment box, Stanley couldn't help but feel pleased with what he had typed. Surely, his words would spark other players to give this game a chance and provide hours of enjoyment for generations to come.
