Very good starting point for a fighting game, it just needs some touch ups. Gameplay itself is very fun and engaging and the presentation/UI is great. The issues I have mainly stem from online being a bit limited in what we can do, but ranked definitely helped me in that area. I'm not here to tell you the game is perfect, but I feel like with time the game will only improve from here, so I have high hopes for the future.
If you're looking for an anime 3D/Arena fighter with some combat depth, interesting visuals, and somewhat balanced(still one or two characters in need of a patch), then this game is for you, but again, I am a big fan of Bleach, so I may have SOME bias, but I'd be completely honest if the game was bad or had no potential, so if you like Bleach, anime fighters, and fighting games, give it a try.

if you were thinking of picking it up today, don't bother. the meta is projectile spam and a lot of the time you feel like you're losing just because the character you're playing doesn't have an answer for distance. I really enjoy this game and how matches can come back from the brink of defeat but finding a match can be hard enough, finding a match where someone isn't being a meta-suckling dweeb desperate to ascend in rank on a game with like 200 total players is almost impossible.

Fuck this game, I really wanted to like it, Im a massive Bleach fan, I just wanted to play as my boy Aizen and I would be happy.
But nooooooooooo, this fucking game keeps disconnecting people going against my Aizen when he awakens after the DLC, not even gonna talk about the bare bones mechanics, these mofos spent months to update the game, and it comes out like this, goddamn.
People talk a lot of trash about Tekken 8 season 2, but this shit is so much worse.
This garbo makes Naruto Storm look good, I'd rather get my ass beat by people spamming supports and jutsus, because at least I can actually play the game.

If you're a Bleach fan or simply a lover of stylish, deep arena fighters, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is an absolute knockout. This game is more than just a fighting game, it's a passionate tribute to Tite Kubo's world. With satisfying combat loops, character-rich transformations, and modes that reward exploration and skill, it sets a promising course for future Bleach titles.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls delivers one of the most refreshing and satisfying combat systems I’ve experienced in an anime fighting game.
The core gameplay is built on a smart mix of strategy and timing. The Attack, Guard, and Break system is easy to learn, but it creates a lot of mind games. Every choice matters, and it feels great when you outsmart your opponent.
What really elevates the gameplay is the Awakening system. Triggering Bankai or Hollow transformations mid-fight isn't just flashy, it genuinely shifts the momentum of a match. These power-ups feel earned and impactful, giving you that epic, last-stand anime moment when you need it most.
Each character plays uniquely, with their own rhythm and mechanics. Whether you're a fast, mobile fighter like Yoruichi or a tank like Kenpachi, there’s depth and personality in every moveset. Special abilities, ranged attacks, movement options they all flow smoothly, and every hit feels weighty.
Also worth noting: controls are tight, animations are fluid, and inputs are responsive, making the gameplay feel polished whether you're playing casually or competitively.
Lastly, perhaps the most impressive part of Rebirth of Souls is how faithfully it embraces Bleach’s identity. It doesn’t just retell the story—it celebrates the characters and their evolution. Even obscure references—like Ishida’s Sanrei Glove mechanics or Yoruichi’s flash-step variants—show a level of detail that only true fans would expect.
Every battle feels like a tribute to Bleach’s greatest moments. You’re not just watching Ichigo fight, you’re fighting like him.
10/10 Absolute Peak.

This game is extremely poorly optimized, frequently dropping FPS on my 3060 Ti (around 0->30 FPS on loading screen). The battle system is too much complicated, but worst and not as pleasing to the eye as the Ultimate Ninja Storm series (also released by Bandai).
Not to mention the DLC that must be purchased to own characters that should have been in the original game, it is really too much money for players. Greedy Bandai as always.
Released in 2025, but this game is a huge disappointment for Bleach fan like me. Overuse of many letter effects appearing on the screen, while what needs to be optimized is graphics and performance, as well as adjusting the price. I have refunded the game, and never need to play again.

Preordered and played on release, as a huge bleach fan I still love it. Combat can get "repetitive" only if you are the one throwing the same combo over and over. The story mode has some good cutscenes adapted straight from the panels and anime, plus the engine makes the game look pretty good too. Tons of characters, some with more depth/creativity than others. Again as a bleach fan please buy it, this is the first game to be released for bleach in literally a decade; saying "trash don't buy" will show Jump that the bleach base isn't big enough to justify releasing another game. Tamsoft did an alright job on an amazing ip, creating a good game.

This game is fun when it works. Big if, it didn't work at launch, developed new bugs now with ranked launch cooking genuine players and instant banning them, please, dont buy this PoS game.

They did a mediocre job. They released a game that needed a lot of fixes, collected the money, and disappeared for a while. Now that the player base is gone, they're releasing DLC and ranked mode too late. The update peaked at 500 players, but just days later it's back down to 200. It feels bad to have spent money on this.
