Picked this up over the weekend and I've been really enjoying it. It's a racing game with remote controlled trucks; you get to race them round a generous selection of courses. Single or multiplayer although I haven't tried the latter yet ( reviewers on steam seem to indicate that it's a hoot though). When I've played RC-style games before I've sometimes found them a bit twitchy and difficult to control (as I imagine the real thing must be until you get good at it). Here they've managed to make the game super accessible with a very well designed assist mode which lets you start playing and racing pretty much immediately whilst still letting you feel like you're actually in control and not just operating a glorified Scalextric. Of course the option is there to turn that off as genuine skills develop. Jolly good fun. Definitely OX APPROVED.

I started racing RC trucks a couple years ago and have a lot of fun doing it, so coming into this is I already had an idea of how RC racing works, but was not expecting it to be as fun as it is. I have only played through about an hour of the campaign championship, so far, but I'm looking forward to completing this title and future updates it may receive. The one and only thing I would like to see is a map editor, so I can emulate some local and popular real life locations. Great job dev team!

not had much chance to play yet but I've burned my servos through a few of the initial races and am loving it so far, in and out of VR. As a big fan of remote controlled things (even pigs) this was very appealing to me straight away and this scratches that itch.

Remote-controlled racing in VR, what a great idea! Like with many VR games, pictures or even videos can hardly convey the feeling when playing. It really comes across as super natural, like real RC racing, but without any real-life frustration! This is an early access game, but it already feels quite polished. There is a bunch of great-looking, fun tracks in various locations, which already have nice little gimmicks like beach balls, ramps and other obstacles. There is also a wide range of EDM-style music so you won't have to listen to only those whirring electric motors all the time. Multiplayer will surely be a lot of fun when it comes, but so far, the career with lots of tracks and cars to be unlocked already leaves a really great first impression! Good Job :D

i am a fan of this game for sure. I use quest 2 VR and TRAXXAS TQI transmitter via VRC like USB adaptor and it works great. follow the action with my head, and feels like driving a real RC. - an arcadey in a good way RC anyway. at first the tracks and trucks are not great but play the campaign and unlock some beasts and hell fun tracks, heaps of layouts, boosts, jumps, on and off road. its not realistic like VRC but i think its better. i would love to see boats haha! different event types are pretty cool - have not tried MP yet, been no lobbies and my mates do not have it (yet i hope haha). i made a video and posted it on my real life RC channel TotalScumbagRC - so check it out and maybe subscribe. cheers.

This is one of those rare occasions where I can simply say "Product as Advertised." It's an RC driving and racing game, no more, no less. You get what you expect to get: races, free roam, cars and tracks locked behind progression gates, all the stuff of any racing game out there, just with RC cars instead. The driving physics feels very much like an RC toy (as it should) and though there is a "cockpit view", it's deliberately designed to appear like a small camera mounted on the roof (fun). My only minor gripes: 1. You can turn off the cheap music but you can't turn off the narrator's vocal commentary, which is infrequent but nevertheless grating. 2. The UI is both unnecessarily complex and very often a bit buggy, making it impossible to navigate using a standard X-box controller. Often I have to put the controller down and use the mouse to click on certain buttons.

Lots of fun! The physics feel great. The AI is done really well. They feel challenging but also aren't impossible to catch up to if you fall behind. Tracks are fun and have a good variety. Game feels really well polished, especially since it's still in early access. My only feedback would be that I wish it would tell you a little sooner if you go off the track. It lets you get pretty far before telling you to go back. Another feature that would be cool is the ability to teleport to different spots on the track when playing in VR mode. Overall a great game! I'd highly recommend it to anyone that's a fan of RC racing.

This game has the heart of those bargain bin ps2 games but in a very good way. Lots of content and good handling RC's and varied level theme/design and you have a hit!

Highly addictive and instant fun. The game can be challenging (the ai is quite ok), with a good variety of vehicles and tracks. Played about 4 hours so far and enjoyed it quite a lot.

This is one of the OG's in VR been doing it since 2014 and started with the DK2 and have owned at least 15 different VR headsets since, well let me tell you RC Rush is one of the best remote tuck/van/cars there is in VR. So much content well worth the money and time. FUN FUN FUN. Awesome!
