Really nice effort, these mystery pncs are my cup of tea. Nice story and pace, altough ok it's not much of a challenge, puzzle wise it's basic.

Just managed to play through Nightmare Frames before the year ends. What a great game, especially if you're into 80s horror movies like I am. 😄
Very fair puzzles and an intriguing that kept me glued to my seat for the whole ride. ☺️

I'd like there to be more than a positive or negative vote here: the game is fine, the story is quite interesting, a love letter to the 80s horror movie craze that slowly turns into a horror movie itself, but as a point and click is quite the let-down: very linear, story driven game, with nearly no "real" puzzles...
As for the presentation, the soundtrack was quite enjoyable, with synthwave vibes setting the mood, and the visuals are nice, even if the animation is a bit too stiff.
I could delve into the use of certain elements for shock value, but I think that's up to each player to decide whether they feel comfortable with this kind of exploitation or not. As for me, I'm fine with it, just note that there are rough elements here and there in the plot.
In summary, if you are here for a challenging point and click, look elsewhere, but if you want a narrative, linear horror experiencie, this might be for you, I for one enjoyed the story and characters, it felt much like a late 80s/early 90s horror flick, and I can't help but to love them.
Oh, also Gabriel Knight casts a large shadow over this one, even if thats a much more tougher (and to me, charming) game

I really enjoyed this one. I think the final act ups the ante in a way that I don't often see in these sorts of games. While a few of the puzzles were slightly frustrating, everything was in the end, more or less logical.
The writing of this game sets itself apart. It felt much more real in a way that I don't often see in these games. Looking forward to more from the developer!

One of the best storylines in any game of the last ten years. As one of the characters in the game said, these guys should be writing films not video games. Genuinely scary at the end. Kept me engaged from the very beginning. Wish they would come up with a sequel. Would love to see a lot more games like this.

A almost flawless old school point & click adventure with an incredible soundtrack, wonderful pixel art, solid story and absolutely oozing with love for 80s horror.
If you like horror films and/or point & click adventures don't even think twice and just play it!
