I'm usually more of a console type of player, but when I saw this game, I wanted it to give it a shot. I must agree with the reviews, that the game can be challenging at first, but it does get easier as you learn the ropes. So don't get discouraged, you'll get a ton of hints along the way. I also love the fact that this indie game has achievements. The game looks dark in the trailer, but the actual game play looks brighter. I did find the game fun and entertaining.

UPDATE: September 5, 2021: After playing the full game and seeing the improvements, coming in almost daily from this developer to the game mechanics, I've increase my score of this game to an 8.5 out of 10. A solid game that is constantly being improved by an indie dev who truly cares about his game. If only every indie developer here on Steam were more like RC1 Entertainment! **********UPDATED REVIEW (Aug 29, 2021) ********** I want everyone to understand how rare it is that an indie developer cares about about a game I review so low that it makes one of my M.I.S.S. videos. I think only one or twice in all of my 900 reviews has this happened. The developer reached out to me and asked me for suggestions to make this game better. I told him to give us a power attack and make the combat more fun. With just a single change the difference in the combat is night and day. Great job to the dev! ********** ORIGINAL REVIEW (AUG 28, 2021) ********** I so want to like this game. But it's NOT fun at all. The main problem is the combat is ugly, awkward, and tedious... NOT "fun" (Note this is AFTER the "Animations" patch on Aug 28, 2021) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx_OCho6wNc The game is also too damn dark and it's nearly impossible to find the items you seek (other melee weapons, a bow, etc). The F for flashlight and N for night vision per the controls layout do not work, I assume because I have to find a flashlight and night vision goggles. ..Maybe give us one of these items at the start rather than having us search around a super dark island looking for nearly impossible crap to find? In the end, I see this as a game with promise, but that falls flat on its face in execution and in delivering any "fun". It's jut NOT good, and there is no "early access" excuse this time around for this developer. My Score: 2.5 out of 10. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Hey All, This is a single-developer game, the devs first game ever, and i think he has done a pretty reasonable job at it. It needs some work, of course, like sometimes the game needs to do a better job of telling you what to do (and why?). But if you contact the dev if you are stuck, he is really good with interacting with those who play the game. The game is spooky and suspenseful and REQUIRES a good set of headphones (you can play without them, but i wouldn't!). heart-pounding suspense. Lots of sneaking. Very dark and mysterious. As long as you are not expecting a triple-A title from a major studio, i see no reason why someone would not get several hours of entertainment out of this game.
