The MC is a female/futa (if you're not into futa's this game might not be for you). That being said, the MC is helping her fellow female crew to succeed in their mission to what end is up to you. This game is meant to be played more than once since each female has a different roll in the game. There is music while you play and animation with the sex also this game is fully finished. This game will only take about 5 hrs or less depending on your read speed and other things. If you go back and play the other paths it will take longer of course. I feel that the price for this game could be lower but if you're lucky enough to get the game on sale then go for it. Give the demo a try but playing the game is a lot better then the demo for sure. I would still recommend this game even with the price being at what it is.

4/10 this game is very linear and short. you really don't impact the story as the MC and it lacks depth. the characters are good visually but as a scifi visual novel, this game is below average. i got to say the devs did a decent job but they really didn't make this game long enough. the game branches well but and even as MC regarding endings, it's like watching a modern movie made for plot convenience purposes. I would recommend on sale not full price. it requires lots of work core: 5/10 visual:7/10 loop:3/10 story:1/10

I would really like to not recommend this game, as the marketing and pricing are pretty terrible. However, if you are a Futa fan, the lewd scenes are top notch. So, I have to recommend it just for those. If they had sexy sounds and better animations, they would be perfect. Whoever decided to split the adult content off and charge extra for it, should be fired. That was a brain-dead choice that shows zero awareness of the adult games market. If this was tagged adults only, like the Devs other games, it would have been much better received and had a wider audience from the start. The writing, dialogue and story are not nearly good enough to carry the game without the adult content. Unfortunately, it's not a harem game so you have to play through 4 times to get the scenes with all the ladies. Even doing that you will clock in around six hours, which is not nearly enough to justify the price of the game+DLC. Would recommend when you can get the package at half price or better. Another huge flaw was the missed opportunity with the Elf Queen. The dialogue and build up were there for her scenes. She even had her own ending. I'm guessing the artist/animator was unable to complete her scenes, so we end up missing out. Kind of a crime, as she was the only other Futa in the game, so we miss out on seeing the MC get stuffed. Dialogue and writing was obviously done separate from the rendering, as a lot of times the description does not match the images. Overall a deeply flawed VN, that is saved by some amazing renders and sexy time. Even though it's the longest, I would say it's the weakest entry so far made by this Dev. Still, well worth a play if you can get it at deep discount.

Buy it on sale, if the game and the patch are at least 50% each. Even so, don't expect anything of great substance. It's an adult vn, without any meaningful choices really. The choice paths are essentially focused on who you're going to get lucky with. It's enjoyable enough, especially if you're into futas and large insertions, but it's absolutely overpriced. For starters, the story is very predictable and not really rewarding. Without spoiling too much, you get the mcguffin, you use it once so you can say you used it, there's a tease for a sequel, I guess, and credits. Each choice path features two scenes, one for each character you're pursuing, and four character specific dialogues that can largely be skipped. If you play through a path once, and read everything, you'll get used to the characters enough that you'll basically be able to write their dialogue yourself once you go back around to do their scenes. This should tell you roughly how one dimensional the characters are. Literally, what the characters do perfectly describes their personalities. The captain: Crafty, and forward. The gunnery officer: A dumb idiot who thinks that brazen is the only way to do anything. The engineer, who would prefer to let the tech do the work but is wicked smart, and the medic, who's just not really cut out for this but necessary all the same. Let's see. The 3D CG is pretty great. The characters are really expressive and visually well designed without being cartoonish. Visually they convey their personalities quite well too, and in general, the game is a treat to look at. Overall, not a whole of substance here. Story is 4/10: Some interesting ideas that are not explored anywhere near enough. Doesn't so much as end, as it feels like you reached the midpoint of the story, or even just completed the first act of a proper story. Visuals/art 9/10: Just phenomenal. Could have used just more of it, along with a more fleshed out story. The 18+ scenes 6/10: The artwork really saves them. The dialogue is not bad. I've certainly read a lot worse, and it's fairly on par with the ridiculousness of the visuals as well. There was nothing to that point that established that the game would stretch out what was possible in that way. I didn't mind, by any means, but it was a jarring shift from a somewhat plausible space-opera-esque story, to basically hentai with great visuals. That being said, the artist(s) clearly are good and love what they do as the cgs are well done, and well put together, and all the shots that you'd expect and want, in one form or another, are present.

Game is fun to play nice graphics i like done two playthroughs but the Plan A achievement is not unlocking i choose this option two times never unlocked. I love this game want to get every achievement fun story. Wish was more lewd scenes. Being able to have mc as futa really nice. It unlocks (Plan A achievement) more then one playthrough required to get every achievement but fun game overall!

I have been holding back this review for quite some time now. I figured its time to speak my mind... You are seriously going introduce a hot alien elf character and not have a sex scene with her? Crazy alien elf futa with the MC would have been epic. Now that would have made me think different about the dev but I think the shortness of the VNs and the choppiness of the animations makes it seem pretty shady. I like being fucked but not in my wallet.

Boring as hell! Actually it's too short. But it seems to be extended with dialogs. Conversations are long, boring and empty. Characters are very beautiful and good looking but there are not many renders. Background renders are the same. I think there are 6-7 background renders in the whole game. The game consists of several choices. But the choices you make are almost the same. I saw all the endings in 1.5 hours. I'm not too surprised. It's actually not a completely bad game. Some parts are good. But overall it looks like it was rushed to make.

What is it? It's a SciFi visual novel with amazing visuals and a very linear story. Finished all three endings in 2.9 hours and could be done faster. There's very little choice, you're mostly along for the ride and while the characters are very attractive, don't expect much depth or credibility. It's an OK story but I prefer VN's with more choice that invite replaying again and again to see more variation. This won't do that but the artwork is very very good. At the right price this is well worth your time but don't expect wall to wall nakedness. It's a story first and foremost.

Dawnbreaker is a visual novel, in which the erotic scenes are outsourced to a R18 DLC. Without this DLC there is no erotic action and it’s only a short linear expensive VN, I played 2h for my first playthrough (without DLC). You are charged additionally for the DLC! In a futuristic scenario the MC is hired by a female crew of a space ship, they want to salvage a lost prototype engine. It sounds like the special engine of the [i]Razor[/i] (TV show [i]Dark Matter[/i]). The MC looks female, only in the DLC you can see that the MC is FUTA. [i]Neon Nights[/i] is from the same devs. The women look very good, but the animations of some erotic scenes have a low frame rate. That's not state of the art. Overall [i]Dawnbreaker[/i] in combination with the DLC is ok, but it is short and it isn't premium league.
