What make a good Slay the Spire clone rely on a few thing:
- Having few cards to begin with, to let you learn about the new cards and their interaction slowly
- Having a small and precious pool of Hit Point, so you need to pay attention to ennemy action
- Be challenging, and allowing you to ramp up the difficulty
Castle Morhisa do all of that. On top it has gorgeous graphic, and enough new mechanics (Talents and character spécialization) to be engaging and feel fresh and new
It took me 40h (some of them idle) to reach and beat the last difficulty 10 with the more easy character to play: the ninja (Her cards and talents allowing infinite combo pretty reliabily)
Great game.. I will now try to find if the 4 other characterz can also get great synergy from their cards
