Really good strategy deckbuilding game. It's awesome when you manage to do a chain reaction of elements and knockbacks that then kills most enemies in the stage :)

I'd hesitate on full price due to lack of balance and a few bugs, but this is surprisingly decent. Player can obtain very powerful effects but these can somewhat easily backfire on them due to mis-use. You start each run with 5 random cards and can customise the cards/deck in-between each battle. Lots of freedom there. Playing also earns the secondary currency used for unlocking new theme sets e.g. fire set adds playable fire cards but also fire area/fire enemy/etc. These sets can be individually toggled on/off if one wishes. + Replayability + Nice music + Short runtime for busy players * VIsuals are bit of a mixed bag, I like it personally - Bugs - Some QoL issues I had my doubts but I was pleasantly surprised. Though, again, I'd avoid full price.

This is worth playing! Lots of cool and emergent craziness from modifying cards and messing about with environmental hazards. Runs are quick, and there is a ton of complexity to unlock over time. The dev continues to support the game and is responsive in the forums.

I've only played the tutorial and then the main game through once, and I can tell this game is a true hidden gem. The interactivity of the map, the build potential, the devious strategies standing between your crushing defeat and overwhelming victory... I revel in it. This game is fantastic.

Nice little turn-based strategy card battler with unlimited replay value due to its procedural generation. Lots of unlockables to change gameplay and circumstances. Give it a try.

A very smart tactical card game. A steal for the price. The GUI needs some improvements but the game mechanics are entertaining to no end.

There's very interesting combinations of cards you can create, and mechanics are fun. Honestly this is kinda hardcore. It looks like it was made by one person who couldn't draw very well so graphics are kinda ugly, but don't let that fool you: this is a good game =)

I have played this for a few hours so far, and i see so much potential. They aren't lying about strategic freedom, and the game can be very difficult... In a good way! It is only a few dollars, but if you still aren't sure, here is a video first run of the game to hopefully convince you. https://youtu.be/Z8Cv2x4Z5WY

The game is pretty janky, pretty imabalanced, and really unique and fun. Its takes the sticker upgrade system of Gloomhaven, the elemental reactivity of Divinity OS, and the graphics of Dreamquest and it rolls them all into one grid based fever dream. Instead of trying to balance the incredibly flexible and powerful upgrade mechanics, the game just lets the player kill themselves on accident with great regularity. "Wow this card applies a ton of damaging knockback to everything on the map! How Powerful!" -Every player upon discovering Earthquake, shortly before being crushed to death by the storm of ricocheting enemy corpses. Its actually a fairly easy game to win if you play most boring, safest strategies you can find, and pick controllable cards that have strong but non-combinatoric effects. But if you wanted balance, order, or safety, you probably wouldn't be playing this game.
