Now the campaign might be a little bad but the mods are amazing especially Labworks.

This game is definitely worth it on sale. $40 USD is a little expensive for the vanilla experience. That being said, the game is basically a modding playground and that's where it shines. The campaign may be short, but it's got a fantastic soundtrack, just like Boneworks.

The story in Bonelab felt a bit lackluster and didn't quite capture the same intrigue as Boneworks' narrative. However, what really stands out in this game is the sandbox mode and modding capabilities, which I think are its true highlights. Uhhh and download fusion because playing this game in multiplayer with friends is so much fun so give it a try.

This game is great for mods and sandbox but if you want to add mods you have to log into mod.io and then you have yo sync your time go into the game go to mods agree to the warnings and privacy go to downloads mod,io log in it should give you a code, type in the code and start downloading mods

I was drawn to Bonelab because it was a sequel to Boneworks and because of mod support. Imagine my disdain as I realized the mod support was actually mod.io instead of just using the Steam Workshop, and the campaign fell flat. It's been an interesting experience, but it just feels unfinished? The unfinished nature feels somewhat intentional due to the story, but between that and the weird glitches I've had while desperately trying to climb anything or even get past level 4 (the minecart goes into the void if you pick up the keycard before Mine Dive. Don't get that card or you'll get softlocked as of patch 4) I just haven't had a good experience. Even once I unlocked the bodylog, which is sick don't get me wrong, it just feels kinda gimmicky and pointless. There's great work here, and I'm grateful for the native shotguns, but I think this needs more work before I can recommend it to anyone short of patient modders.

Not a bad game, just felt too short. Hopefully the next one will be longer

great atmosphere, good gunplay, shit phsyics. the amount of times i've been fucked over... by my hand getting stuck in something that it shouldn't be, or going somewhere that's no where near where my real fucking hands are, or the fact that the inventory is total shit.

After the masterpiece that was BONEWORKS, I am sorely disappointed by this game. I gave it time to improve and add on to the lackluster 2 hour campaign, but SLZ just hasn't added anything meaningful to the game to make it worth coming back for. Even with a few years for mods to be developed, there just isn't much interesting content.

This game is similar to garys mod but it still has base content. DONT BUY BONELAB FOR JUST THE BASE GAME (Its far worse than boneworks) however, the mods and comunity for this game are amazing and is what is keeping it alive. My only suggestion, downlaod the fusion mod.
