Plot didn't make a lot of sense, overall mildly entertaining.

Not a bad game for the genre, but way too short for normal pricing. Get it on a discount.

As a player with a keen interest on the Gray family story I'd say that it's a big letdown. The plot is basically like random information bumping out of nowhere and blend together like a stu surprise with a strange taste. I'd really want to see
How Richard changed after his daughter defeated him again
..... Or just some plot twists. But no, everything is within my guesses, and the only surprise I found is how surprisingly illogical the story goes. It's really a nice game for those who enjoy the minigames, they are kind of creative with just the right amount of challenge. But for me.... No thanks.

Its a hidden object adventure game, least that's what bigfish advertises these as, its good we can get them on Steam. You have to save your sister from the evil sorcerer and everything like that. I was just wanting one of these, it was good.

The whole series of Grim tales are amazing and loads of fun and mind boggling games and what not. Great story lines. Not sure if there is a proper order to play them but hopefully I did it right if there is.

So… I guess it was bound to happen. Some group is pissed at Anna Gray for messing with time. Or being able to. And now she has to somehow unravel this mystery to save herself. And perhaps her family. HO scenes are fun, minigames challenging, and the plot engaging. Recommend in the bundle, just for ease of purchase.

Another wonderful installment of the Grim Tales series featuring Anna Grey as the protagonist. Mrs. Grey is not your typical woman. She was born with an ability that both Destiny and Death hate, the ability to manipulate time. Because of a deadly mistake done by her father in the past, Mrs. Grey has to time-travel again to save the future and defeat an anti-time organisation known as the OMEN. PROS: - Beautiful scenes; - Fitting music; - Interesting plot (reminds me of Inception, dream within a dream, here it's time within time); - Various HOs and minigames; - Fast-travelling map; - Main game + Bonus chapter + Secret room; - Screensaver pieces and clock collectibles. CONS: - Would like to see a brief history for each collectible; - At some point, I was confused about the time within time framework (I usually get this way when there's more timelines involved. I remember when we discussed Hawksmoor and Chatterton at university. Both books explored up to three or four timelines. I couldn't get passed the first two). What can I say? An interesting experience. As always.

I cannot recommend this game in it's current state. I made a silly mistake and confused the Grim Tales(Big Fish Games) with Grim Legends(Artifex Mundi) and realised my mistake almost instantly upon loading. The cursor movement is slow and janky which is unacceptable in a game where part of the driving principle is to quickly click on objects scattered all over the screen. I was able to overcome this slightly by turning off the in-game custom cursor and using the default windows cursor but there are still mouse sensitivity issues that made some puzzles like a Kaleidoscope puzzle so frustrating I had to skip it. My PC is a well performing gaming PC and the issue is not hardware or driver related. As I progressed further into the game I began to encounter sound/audio issues that nearly brought the game to complete crash. Aristocrat bought Big Fish Games in 2018 for nearly $1 Billion dollars, in Sept 2020 Big Fish cut nearly 50% of its workforce and it shows here. For a TripleA Studio worth a $1B this game never should have shipped in this state.
