The Alchemist of Pipi Forest is another unusual title to recommend. It's in the style of an Atelier game, but there is no combat or complex/involved crafting system. Gameplay revolves around collecting ingredients, recipes, and doing sidequests for people. There's still material and time management, as you need to complete the necessary sidequests and tasks to reach the ending over the course of 11 days.
Graphically it's nice, pretty pixel art, adorable characters, and nice portraits. Music isn't super memorable but it's solid and fitting for the game.
There are a few tech issues, I could not get the controller to work natively, and the default control scheme set in Steam was not correct. Once I modified the controller mappings it was fine. The game also opens in windowed mode, with no graphics settings. Alt-Enter did not full screen it, it wasn't until I completed the game and saw that it was created with RPG Maker that I thought to try F4 to make it full screen.
The story is OK, but doesn't make a huge amount of sense at times. Most of this I assume is due to the game being written in Korean and translated. There are a few untranslated words here and there, usually in menus.
Gameplay is just collecting ingredients, doing character quests (item puzzles and such), and exploration. Your exploration areas increase throughout the game. Later on it becomes strongly a resource management puzzle, as you need to have certain items at certain times, and both gathers and time to finish the game are limited.
There are 5 endings, but I was unable to figure out how to get the others. There is very little information about the game in English, and there doesn't seem to be that much in Korean either.
Overall, it's a decent game, it's just not a replacement for an Atelier game even though it has the same style and time/resource management aspects. The lack of a complex crafting system and combat just makes it too different to blindly recommend to Atelier fans. If you like calmer more exploratory adventures, and don't mind "walking sims"/puzzle oriented visual novels, it might be a fun 8-10 hours of fun.

HIGHLY recommend this game!! It's super cute and fun to play through, it took me about 10 hours to complete the story but theres more game play to do since I missed some achievements and side quests! The characters are all really cute and the story sucks you in with a great plot and a few twists. I really enjoyed playing.
Though most of the content for outside the game if you're looking for help is few and far between and what is there is in Korean or Japanese, it's still worth it!!
