This game has really great potential considering the franchise its based upon, but lack of updates and care from IllFonic put this game in the grave. Played for the first month or two, and took a little break to wait for more big content to come out, stuff like obvious things like weapons/classes/basic game-play shit. The kind of stuff you would expect from something like this. We got a couple of maps and a bunch of DLC, while some of the outfits looking cool, aren't enough substance to keep you enthralled. Which really sucks considering they could have profited off the boom of popularity this franchise got in recent years. If you do end up buying this, you'll probably have fun for a week or two max.

"Proof That Clowns Are Scarier When They’re From Outer Space" Ever wondered what would happen if you combined the horror of clowns with the terror of intergalactic invaders? Well, wonder no more, because Killer Klowns from Outer Space takes everything you thought you knew about clowns (a red nose, a squeaky horn, a tragic backstory) and turns it into a nightmare. It’s like IT and Mars Attacks had a baby and that baby learned how to shoot popcorn. Let’s break it down: the gameplay is everything you didn’t know you needed. You play as either the clowns or the humans trying to survive this wacky alien invasion. The clowns? They’re literally killer clowns from outer space, armed with bizarre weapons like cotton candy guns and acid-spitting popcorn (which, for some reason, is way more terrifying than it sounds). You’ll chase down humans with creepy smiles and tiny, clown car-sized vehicles, because why not make an already terrifying situation more ridiculous? As one of the humans, your job is to hide, run, and scream like you’re auditioning for a slasher film. Honestly, it’s like Friday the 13th meets a circus gone horribly wrong. The humans are armed with all the usual tools of defense—flashlights, firearms, and an endless amount of bad decisions. And yet, somehow, the clowns always seem to have the upper hand… mostly because they’ve mastered the art of turning you into cotton candy before you even have time to finish your latte. The real gem here, though? The clown abilities. You get to be the one launching yourself through the air in a giant balloon that makes a noise every time it lands (which, for some reason, makes it way funnier when you see someone getting trapped). The humor of a giant, menacing clown tossing people into cotton candy cocoons is like if Mad Max met Barnum & Bailey. There are some issues with the game..... The movement..... It’s about as smooth as a clown's face paint—awkward, stiff, and full of "why is this happening to me?" moments. I mean, come on, clowns are supposed to be quick on their feet, not running like they’ve got a whole circus tent in their shoes. And then there’s the player count. Oh, the player count. If you were hoping to experience the full carnage of a massive multiplayer clown showdown, think again. Many have stopped playing the game which have increased the time to find full matches. Despite these hiccups, the game is still an absolute riot. Running around like a headless chicken, hiding in carnival tents, and trying to shoot acid popcorn at terrifyingly large clowns never gets old (even if it sometimes feels like your character is running on stilts). It’s the perfect mix of horror, camp, and absurdity that’ll have you laughing and hiding behind your screen, wondering if your childhood fears about clowns were actually warnings. Is it a game you’d take seriously? Absolutely not. But is it a game that’ll make you scream, laugh, and reconsider every birthday party you’ve ever attended? Oh, 100%. It’s a glorious mess of absurdity that somehow works in the most delightfully twisted way. Verdict: 7.2 / 10 - Would get abducted by killer clowns again. Just hope they bring more popcorn.

I'm a big fan of Asymmetrical games (Dead by Daylight, Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and loved this game when it first came out. Very sad it's dead now, but I enjoyed playing while it lasted. I hope it gets revived like TCM.

Nope, bought at launch and played for a couple hours (7) and its not it! The clowns are too overpowered and the characters pretty much stand no chance! Some times it was fun but some times it just felt like playing a friday the 13th copy. The lack of content is bad, DLCs? nope not worth it! Most people ever playing it were at launch! right now probably like 10 people! So no, dont buy this game! its not worth the money, go buy far cry instead and keep some bucks

Very conflicting review. I love this game but it's terrible. I can't recommend it to the average gamer, but for a Killer Klowns fan it's terrific.

Had the formula for success, then fumbled with a 40$ price tag and no new content besides skins.
