Philana and the Elixir of Life Reviews

I had a hard time trying to figure out whether or not to recommend this game. It's a pretty simple JRPG that isn't terribly hard, but at least there's something there. For some scenes there is a sort of progressive corruption, however mild, as even from the start the scenes tend to go all the way. There's battle sex but after what's basically two failed grapples, those scenes go all the way. Surprisingly though, those battle scenes do show some amount of corruption if you continue to fail. But every interaction with an NPC or monster is completely standalone and independent of scenes with any other characters. The art isn't bad. I'd say that it's reasonable to consider purchasing this during a good sale, provided you're fine with getting a game that is pretty mid.
