This game is clearly unfinished.
There is no way to bind controllers in Local COOP to different players. There is also no guide available that tells how to do it. As such I can say that the main feature, which is local play, simply doesn't work.
The controllers themself just act as a duplication of a keyboard and mouse. So not as new input.
I do not recommend this game at all.
