I've only played this very briefly, and I am reviewing specifically to comment on the game's usability for my usual playing style, which is couch-based play on the Steam Deck (docked). Unfortunately, while technically playable, it is not really suitable for that game play style (at least not without some tinkering in the controller settings). Controllers work, but the path and speed of movement is excruciatingly slow. The character movement was also excruciatingly slow, but I suspect that is an extension of the controller issue. It is a visually beautiful game and I will probably play it at a later time on PC, but it doesn't work out-of-the-box for the Deck plus controller. Since there is no neutral button, I'm still clicking recommend, because (i) there are only a very few reviews for this title and I don't want to tank its stats for a use case that it does not claim to support, and (ii) I saw enough to think it's a very soothing and beautiful game to play.

Fun but too buggy for me to finish. If you guys updated it and fixed the bugs where its hard to walk/easy to get stuck I'd definitely play again. I feel like this game has a lot of potential!

This is such an amazing little game. Short but a great story full of color and emotions. I highly recommend it! Check out my gameplay of The Lost Dog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfmLP3jXYP4

I like this game, short game with good story similar to Django game, these two indie games are with similar plot and gameplay. Both are great in their own way in cost, graphics and gameplay wise. As a dog lover I recommend these games for dog lovers, story lovers and Exploration lovers.

First off the FEEEEELS oh my God lol. I cried a few times. It's a short game, sad story, but had a good ending. Worth the price.
My only critique would be the chapter screen, I stayed on the first one for awhile before I realized it wasn't just a loading screen and you actually have to hit the chapter text to continue.

A short walking simulator experience about a dog.
The soundtrack is intense and sad and it matches the story.
The problem with it is that the sound mix is really bad. Certain parts of the narration are inaudible due to the loudness of the music.
Also the "BEGIN" button at the start is difficult to press because for some reason the mouse was invisible there.
It is priced right for what it is.
