It’s the Assassin’creed! Cannot get full screen for some reason, and alt tabs the game itself regularly.

The original still holds up albeit a bit repetitive. It's clear where the series' greatness came from and a lot of mechanics still exist in current games just more refined.

This title was no doubted innovative, and its performance and atmosphere are still intriguing.

✅ Great story, I wasn't expecting much from it ✅ Open world ✅ Decent game-play ✅ Can climb almost anything, and jumping from rooftop to rooftop feels satisfying ✅ Lots of collectibles to find ❌ No subtitle option, makes it hard to follow the story/dialogues ❌ Fast travel unlocks later in game and it's not that good, does not allow you to fast travel to view points ❌ Game has severe issues when playing more than 60 FPS ❌ Manual saving not possible ❌ Stealth killing boss targets automatically alerts enemies which seems like a flawed design ❌❌❌ You must check PCGamingWiki for this game (https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed) as there are some game breaking fixes like regular freezing on the page Also highly recommended to install Eagle Patch mod for this game: https://github.com/Sergeanur/EaglePatch/

poor maintainance, poor controls, game stucks every 2 mins making this completely unplayable. Ubisoft, Assassin's creed is one of my fav. gaming franchise, please take care of its reputation. Please fix the old games. Imagine reviewing bad about a goated game just because of poor maintainance. Stop making new games and reshape the old once, please.

Overall a solid game and good start to the series. While I wouldn't recommend this as a first ac game today, for fans of the franchise who've never played the og (me), give it a try, you'll probably love it. For it's time I think this game is pretty amazing; The graphics still hold up, the open world is still pretty big and the cities and landmarks are recreated beautifully, the story is interesting and thought provoking and the 3 main pillars of assassin's creed (stealth, parkour and combat) are done well enough. Unfortunately it has it's flaws; The world may still be sizeable today, but it has practically no side content (just flags to collect and viewpoints to sync), the missions are extremely repetitive, they all follow the same simple formula, on a first play through it wasn't too bad but I imagine it's pretty annoying on re-visits to the game, Finally a few small things, it's an old game so it can be a bit janky or glitchy at time, you can't swim, climbing is very slow compared to later games and npcs might want to make you punch your monitor. FYI I have played more than 20 minutes of the game, I played it with the wifi off because other wise it breaks (not sure why, think it's some ubisoft server error) so play with wifi off if you experience this.

This games story and main character is fantastic. The game has aged and is a bit clunky when it comes to the parkour, but overall. I still enjoy and recommend this game to any AC fans.

I'm going to hesitantly give Assassin's Creed a recommendation. The game itself is amazing, and it was my first real experience with the franchise. I recommend anyone who hasn't played this game to give it a shot. The state of this port however is awful. I had to install a custom script to even get a controller to work with it and had to make a custom host IP on my computer so the game wouldn't freeze every 30 seconds trying to ping a long deactivated Ubisoft server. The most ironic thing I encountered with this was a guide where someone was asking for help with the issue and all the community members were pitching in offering real solutions and ideas, and a Ubisoft representative responded with a link that was basically "Are you sure your computer is good enough to run this?" Truly embarrassing. Amazing game, shitty company. I would recommend the game due to it's own merits, but be aware of what you're getting into and the fixes you might have to employ.

Beautiful game with such a great story, I love how we see Altair change through his missions and the persons he kills, each one makes Altair judge and doubt himself of his actions and if he is actual doing any good. How he changes from his Ego and Pride to listen to others and ask for help when needed. Every talk with Al-Mualim is interesting because we see him grow even more with each one of them. The atmosphere of the game and how everything is created is so well made, the music is so beautiful specially City of Jerusalem. I love this game it hasn't aged the best perhaps but i still love it and is one of my favorite Assassin's Creed Games<3
