The real Double Dragon 3, as far as I'm concerned. This game is a ton of fun and legendarily cheesy. For my ninja game fix, I personally prefer this over the Shinobi series.

The president needed a bad enough dude. Chuck Norris was too awesome so I answered the call.

This is probably moot because you can't buy this anymore, but I just did not like this game. I like arcade beat'em ups but this one just did not click with me. The enemies are all just kind of annoying to fight.

"Being bad never felt so good" You can beat the game around 20 minutes, but the childhood memories last for a life time. Pros: - Good old beat 'em up action direct from the 80's arcades - Cooperative action for two players - A very nice soundtrack - The President is a cool american guy - You can kick ninja butts as an american warrior - Smells like lemon Cons: - Lack of achievements. Even a game for literal little girls like My Little Pony A Maretime Bay Adventure have them. - There's no dip switches options like the real arcade game. Only recommended if you're a nostalgic player or like to collect old oddities.

Exciting, ninja-based 80's action. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to rescue the President of the United States, Ronald "Ronnie" Reagan. You basically just spam the attack button the whole way, but you can also charge it for a power punch. The emulation is good enough, was nice to revisit this game.

Remember playing this with a school friend in 88 89 during the school holiday, loved the ninja theme, ninjas were everywhere during the 1980s, main heroes or antagonists are inspired by Bruce Lee you can tell, level 2, as a kid was blown away by the wheels on the truck animation and the cars for that time was impressive. We did not complete it as did not have much money but a Great memory of a Great game like double dragon, all those muscles through out the 80s with our action hereos and my dad inspired me to workout, like anything its in your genes or blood, Blessings to everyone reading this. :) definetly recommended

I used to go to Pistol Pete's Pizza back in '88 practically once a week just to play this in the arcade when I was 10 years old in the fourth grade. The NES/Famicom port was "okay" but it never lived up to the arcade experience to me. Here I am at age 43, thirty three years later and I FINALLY have this sucka Arcade Perfect. (No I never bothered with MAME). For fans of roving brawlers / beat 'em ups (especially with 1980s cheese factor and Ninja craze) you STILL can't go wrong with this game. Don't expect Streets of Rage 4 or Double Dragon Advance or anything super duper... but it's still fun to play. IT'S A BUTTON MASHER, you gonna die a lot just to beat the game. But it's so worth it. *** I'M BAD! ***

'Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja' came out in 1988, weird fact is that for the NES versios of the game, in 1989 the game was named 'DragonNinja' for the japanese version and in 1990 'Bad Dudes' for the american version, it wasn't until later in the year 1990 that there was a European version under the full name 'Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja'. Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6quMM3ubdA The game brings us the general gameplay experience for classic beat 'em up games that we can place next to the 'Dragon Ball' series, but instead of saving the girl you will have to save the president this time. With the help of pickups for HP or weapons you will also pass the stages more confidently, towards the end of each stage you will also be confronted with a boss. The game also has support to play with a friend locally or even via remote play.

Well, it's Bad Dudes alright. It still looks great and the environments vary a lot during its quite short 30min playtime. The gameplay hasn't aged especially well, feeling a bit clunky. And the difficulty-balancing is very arcade-machine-focused, meaning its less about skill and more about pumping more and more (virtual) coins into the machine as you die over and over while buttonmashing your way to the end. I'd recommend this to anyone feeling like a stroll down memory lane. But if you don't have any nostalgia for this game, you probably won't get much out of it.
