The game has proven itself to be a breath of fresh air, a reminder of old gaming basics where no map, just powerful atmosphere, simple but fun gameplay and immersion. Were it not for these, I could easily boil the game down to a collectathon but it successfully dresses that up in an engaging setting and having the good mind of not introducing a map. Only minus I could give it is no death or real game over. It's not in line with the studio and publisher so it's not an unexpected reveal. All and all a solid 8.5/10

This is one of my favorite games, hands down. It's roughly 10 hours to just do the ending, but you can get waaaaay more out of by just exploring. The art is beautiful, the story interesting, the animal designs gorgeous, the gameplay fluid, and the music fantastic. I cannot wait for the next game

A short but great game. Only problem i had was the lighting during the boss fights, there is so much flashing light that my eyes and head hurt like hell. Maybe not the best if you are sensible to light.

The plot is kind of lame, and the puzzles are really easy, but I liked the exploration aspects and the fights have great presentation. Buy on sale.

Just finished the main game. Honestly, surprised by how much I liked it. It does start slow, but if you're not big on 100%-ing games, you can focus on the boss fights and main progression pretty easily. Ultimately would compare it to a lite Shadow of the Colossus.

Finished the game and got the credits ending, its a fine game but it does get repetitive and it feels like there is world building and then nothing to reward for it so dont expect much aside from the movement and chill vibes. This is the type of game that you want to speedrun or get high playing i personally would give it a 6/10 but thats because i played it slow.

Picked this up on sale and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Reminds me alot of BOTW with the environmental puzzles, cleansing of towers, etc etc. The world is quite a joy to explore as the shooting-based traversal feels great, and points of interest are highlighted red in "Spirit Vision", which is essentially the closest thing you have to a map in this game. Instead of a traditional map, you have to seek out vantage points and pop on spirit vision to see where you have and haven't been, which adds to the immersion for me. Boss fights so far are moreso puzzle fights, with very light combat, but still a spectacle to behold. All in all, if you can grab this on a sale, highly recommend. The content is a little scant for say, $40, but for $20 or less I think this is a great, well made game that will entertain you if you're into puzzles and exploring.

The Pathless takes you on a unique journey that pleasantly surprised me. Not your typical game but this is a genuine compliment. The graphics and music reminded me of Journey. Puzzles were intuitive and thoughtful but not overly difficult which is a positive. It takes a little getting into (definitely felt lost at the beginning) but happy I completed the adventure!

amazing game! if you like there other game Abzu you'll love this one! the game is fun but still challenging, the world is beautiful. the controls are easy to get the hang of and use, all of the challenge comes from timing, puzzles, and good well thought out fights, not from confusion or unintuitive play. i loved the world and story they built and it's well worth playing!

Great game!. A good gameplay, a decent history, decent soundtrack and precious artistic design. Well, sometimes it can be repetitive.(In some situations). Combat is satisfactory. Is not very difficult but neither very easy.A great game in general terms.
