Beautiful, fun little platformer.
Excellent atmosphere and score. The music reminds me of thinking and has that nostalgic feel. Calming game, you can’t die to my knowledge. Ending is kind of mids though.

Hoa is a nice blend of puzzle and platformer. It poses enough of a challenge to be engaging while introducing you to mechanics in a natural and gradual way. There are some points where it gets tricky, but if you get really stuck, you can pull up a walkthrough and skip to the part you're stuck on. I didn't have too many issues though. There was one point where I encountered a bug. If you also encounter a bug while playing, you should be able to exit to the main menu and click continue to fix it. Overall, though, it was a great experience. The art and music were absolutely lovely, and the story is heartfelt in a simple sense.

Hoa is a simple little game that is nice to relax and play. It can be a simple afternoon play through. The art is beautiful and adds to the wonder of the game. The music is also absolutely amazing. The simple instrumental playing in well to the game. This game is a good choice for a chill game day.

Won't play on mac - plays the first scene and then I can jump on the flowers but when it introduces the animal it won't let me go up the rock to the next screen . Please help.

Super relaxing little platform game that somehow gave me Studio Ghibli vibes. Very short though, so I'd get it on sale.

Absolutely gorgeous, easy game - great for people like me who don't enjoy combat mechanics. I admittedly have atrocious hand-eye coordination, and any maneuvers that require much finesse or timing are beyond me, and even then, I found the game mechanics very easy to learn. I like the creativity of the mechanics and how the learning curve isn't steep because you're given a chance to build up familiarity before combining different moves into something more complex.
I like that the objective of each level is clear via the map, and that you can't get stuck anywhere. In some games, I find myself getting stuck in ways where I can't get unstuck and instead have to restart the level, but that doesn't happen here. It's also easy to tell if you're going in the wrong direction, so there's no backtracking, which is good if you're impatient like me. If you have a friend who doesn't really consider themselves a gamer or gets intimidated by certain video games, I think this would be a great way to introduce them to gaming.
Of course, it would be extremely remiss of me not to mention the stunning art and soundtrack. Nearly every scene looks like it could be a desktop wallpaper, and there's something very relaxing and gentle and scenic about the art style. I personally found this to be a wonderful, relaxing game. I just wish it were longer, or that there were a sequel - I loved playing this!

It looks very, very cute but the controls (I play on PC) are uncomfortable and there is no option to re-bind them. It is also a struggle to jump from stuff to stuff, the mechanics are wonky and not precise.
Have zero desire to struggle further.
