Art style should've been a dead giveaway the writing is going to be copypasta sweatshop anime tropes. And the gameplay systems deceptively shallow, extremely in this case.

This is the 3rd+? Artsy Chinese game I tried to get into that has it's stories summarised in one sentence with the filling being just that, filler.
Then again, I hear Fast & Furious Nth is peak cinema around those parts.
You won't get any of that action here though.

I don't know if this game is good or not. I got spooked in the tutorial and ran away. Lovecraftian game with actual combat mechanics scares the shit out of me.

I’ve only played the first scenario so far—twice, to unlock additional content—and I already highly recommend this game.
The writing is strong, the story is engaging, and the atmosphere nails the cosmic horror tone. It also plays well—once you get the hang of the mechanics, it’s very satisfying. Some systems are a bit opaque at first, but if you're familiar with Call of Cthulhu mechanics, you'll notice the inspiration and likely adapt quickly.
My only issue was at the very beginning. When I first launched the game, the pop-up notifications were in Chinese, so I intentionally skipped them, expecting to see them again after switching the language to English and restarting. Unfortunately, they never reappeared—not even after deleting my save or reinstalling the game. It wasn’t a big deal, but I would really appreciate an option to revisit those initial messages in the correct language, just in case they contained useful info.

It is compelling, and the translations is okay. Eldritch horror but also very doable and the struggle is very plausible.

Okay, I'll update this later but so far:
This games shows a great of potential, and it's already being a fantastic experience. The game is organized in several modules (adventures) which (I believe) are pretty much independent from each other. However, at the time of writing this I have just done the intro and the first module (with almost all endings). The ending really moved me, and it was totally climatic and made the story come together.
What worried me about this game was the english localization, and I have both good news and bad news. The first module's translation (intro) was a bit sloppy and there were some typos. And a couple of books in the library (the space from which you embark on missions) are in chinese, so I don't know what they say. However, the first module had no problems and was typo-free. And overall, it was all understandable and I didn't miss anything even with the typos. So, it's not as bad as it may seem. Only real problem is that actualizations and content take longer to get released in english, but there's still much to do.
I recommend this game since it has a lot of available content and since it's in development, most problems will likely be fixed. Besides, you'll have a lot of content by the end of the development. And a LOT of achievements to get while you wait (like, over a 100).
Update: The translation when fighting the sloppy woman (Nole) is missing, so anticlimatic :(
