They messed it up. took out the random encounters that allowed you to make extra money and recruit people n beasts, i would get a refund if i hadn't waited like 3 months to play. loved the original hate this tripe they call a remake. don't waste your time or money.

Thought this was Final Fantasy tactics I use to play on PS1. O well to much time invested now.

good fun. more of a time sink than a short and sweet adventure. but you only need to dive as deep as you want.

The game is good, good story and decent gameplay. I just wish they would have implemented more modern game mechanics as the game feels a little old fashioned somehow, I would probably wait for discount to buy it.

Excellent game. Great story, gameplay and high replayability with the additions and QOL changes made since the original. Hoping for a dlc or sequel, possibly continuing back to Tartaros story would be nice.

Tactics Ogre tells the tale of Denam Pavel as he navigates the complexities of war and politics in the Valerian Isles. The strategic game play is the bread and butter here, and it does not disappoint. Tactics Ogre has a bunch of fun and unique classes, wonderful pixel art, branching narrative and a wonderfully complex political story. Some mechanics can be a bit archaic for a modern player (this is a remake of a remake after all), however the systems in place work together beautifully for a true masterclass in strategy RPGs. If you consider yourself a fan of the genre, do yourself a favor and pick this game up. One of the best in the genre.

While I understand the challenge and the change of the game loop from chapter to chapter. The need to grind to have units to create a team composition in chapter 3 that is finely suited to every battle was just too much. I just couldn't stay in it for the pacing of the game. Even on fast mode, the game takes forever to get through each level.

If the OG version of this game was the grandfather to FFT, this is the brother you never new you needed. This game modernizes the OG without loosing itself. 10/10 if you like tactical games

Great tactics game. You're really forced to consider strategy by the game. Can be annoying at times but fun. Classes are too limited, Farming items is a grind, and limiting level while you go up against enemies with higher levels are a burden...but then again, fun. Not recommended for those who just want to play casual relaxing tactics. Game is quite frustrating. xD.

smooth, snappy strategy gameplay. lots of team building options between all of the individual races/classes you can recruit and even the equipment you can give them. hell, even status effects were actually pretty strong. big fan of that. man, I was hooked. hell of a game.
