We don't deserve dogs.

I followed this game during development but just got around to purchasing and playing it.... just as amazing as I could have ever imagined. It speaks to my grief and life experience while allowing me to experience something magical and new.

I cannot even find the words to describe how beautiful this game is.

Great game. If you are at all fond of dogs you will like this. Hard not to shed a tear or two though.

Beautiful game. I recently lost my dad and my very own good boy less than a year apart sooo this one was a tough play. But I enjoyed it for exactly that reason. Thank you for making this piece of art.

Beautiful story and gameplay! It was a masterpiece and tugged at my heartstrings. I rate it a 9.5/10. My only critique is that there's no navigational map, except for a compass, (which makes the game feel more like it's in a real life setting), so it is hard to pinpoint places if you need to retrace your steps a bit for achievement hunting. I suggest making sure you map complete each island if you are interested in those achieves. Otherwise, no big deal. The game was absolutely stunning and breathtaking.

This was one of the most emotional gaming experiences I've ever had. A heartwarming story with an unforgettable ending. If you enjoy narrative-driven exploration games, I highly recommend it. A special shout-out to the music (main song and ambient) and voice acting, which was all top-notch and a perfect fit for this game.

This game gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. It made me feel nostalgic for a life I've never lived. It's not necessary to spoil things, so I will write some short points. It's definitely a work of art. I loved the style, colors, and music. The controls are refined. Rowing the boat is very satisfying. I liked being able to do 'dog things' like barking and digging. I enjoyed 99%ing the game. The last 1% made me depressed because I finished the game. Story wise, even though I got many hints throughout the game I was unable to put 2 and 2 together. It had more emotional weight than I was expecting. We need more games like this.

Very imaginative and beautiful. I loved the story, and the way it unfolds. And who can argue with playing from the perspective of a doggo in the Scottish Isles. The only significant negative for me was that some of the monochromatic parts of the game are very bright, like hard to look at and hard to see the important details.

Brought this for my wife as she's border collie crazy! (Also biased as we own one!) She absolutely loved it, she couldn't put it down...I practically lost access to my steam deck for the best part of a week! She says the story is really heartwarming and made her cry, the graphics are beautiful, the music is really relaxing and the controls for the dog are smooth and easy to grasp. She cannot recommend this game enough!
