Short, sweet, relaxing. Dialogue is a little bit childish to me. Certainly worth the play-through, but not worth the price except on deep sale.

A very short but relaxing and uniquely beautiful cinematic game about a girl trying to save her world. Not usually my style of game - I purchased after following Myriad on Facebook over the last couple of years of development - but I enjoyed the story and how it was told. At times funny although I don't think I was supposed to find it so: [spoiler] the character expressing a destroyed village as a motivating factor, for instance, genuinely made me laugh out loud although probably more due to how this was stated than anything else[/spoiler].

Let an evocative sound track guide you through an emotional story set in a striking yet simple landscape. The gameplay is not at all demanding and suitable for players of any age. I found myself compelled to continue the narrative, not only discovering the story of the world and heart warming characters; but also discovering truths within myself. A short but lovingly crafted experience, highly recommended.

This is a short, low-stress, and overall pleasant game with a compelling and meaningful story. The game's environments are beautiful to explore and are complemented by an excellent soundtrack that really immerses you in the world. A perfect game for a relaxing weekend, excellent work by the team!

A short little game about believing in yourself. The music is top notch and will give you all the feels.

I knew well this was a linear story with just some interactions and no gameplay , I own and play a lot of little games like this one Unfortunately this wasn't nothing special , story is ok is not bad but there's just nothing memorable and art style could have been better ... ok it's minimal but somehow flat I really didn't like the eyeless characters at all And many times after an interaction it takes ages to regain control of the protagonist , like the game is freezing or something but hey I'm not sure maybe it's supposed to be like this ? for me it was 25% in sale for 70/80 minutes of mediocre experience that I won't suggest you to spend and try

This is a beautiful game with a compelling story. I recommend to all who need a magical break from reality and a heartfelt hero adventure.

It's a very short game, but it's an extremely well made game. If you really appreciate calm and relaxing games where you don't have to do too much, but also get to enjoy the narrative (eg. like Telltale games) then it's another game that's quite good. I like them, and this is one that satisfies visually, in narrative, world building and music/audio. The price may seem a little steep, but this studio has been working on this game for about 5 years! No doubt learning a lot along the way. They will no doubt be taking these skills into new jobs and opportunities. I'd say it's worth it considering the time they spent making it. For my Tasmanian friends - this is a game made in Tasmania! You're supporting the Tas games industry 😉 (I'm technically a part of that) Big selling point - you might actually finish this game for those who own a lot of games on Steam haha. I love finishing games, and I've done that!

Where the Snow Settles is a very short game (90 mins), so buy in a deep sale. I would classify it as a walking simulator as it is very linear and you don't do anything except direct the heroine. It is a very gentle story of the coming of age of Aurelia, a very timid girl scared of her own shadow. She and her sister Esta sneak out of their village trying to find out why their world is collapsing with such a severe winter and constant earth tremors. Various spirits befriend Aurelia on her journey as she makes world changing decisions. Game play is easy and untaxing as you point Aurelia in the right direction and interact with some stones. Environment is simple, bleak and desolate. I saw no wildlife. Music was calming and evocative at the right moments. This is a game that children can relate to as Aurelia battles her inner fears and doubts. It's simple and gentle style would aid any anxious child. As an Aussie, I have to recommend this game because it is supported by the Tasmanian govt. 7.5/10 Oh...and I forgot to mention that there are no achievements nor trading cards at this stage.
