Its ok. Feels like they took Dark Souls 2 and made it 2D, but rven slower. If you like slow sidescrollers, definitly try it. But there are way better gayms in the genre for a similar price. I rage quit when I got shot by two perfect aim archers that I could not block nor dodge mid air, while dodging a circular saw..

If you go into it expecting a combat focused 2D Pixel Art Dark Souls, and not a movement-based metroidvania, you should have a good time! Not a fan of having to watch boss intro cutscenes every time you fight a boss again after dying, with no clear way to skip, though. Also a little disappointed with the true ending. But otherwise, was an enjoyable game.
