Story intruiging (though starting as if we are missing an introduction), nailing the atmosphere, style and sound is simply FANTASTIC, some of the best pixel art & animation I've ever seen, the visuals are STUNNING, I'd love them on my walls. However... Ironically, being a tribute to writer Jules Verne, there are numerous spelling mistakes, words in the wrong order (or is that supposed to be 1800-talking maybe), and a bunch of other linquistical errors. The writing sometimes comes off as if the script went through Google translate or was written by AI. The voice actors occasionally correct it in their reading but often not. I could forgive that. But I cannot forgive that there is no manual saving, no chapter replay, and you can pick up a collectible, die, and then continue on, missing that you'd have to pick up that collectible *again* for it to count towards completion. And once you pass the next save point, that's it, if you missed something you have to replay the ENTIRE game again. That's just mean, a disrespect of players time, and feels like a cheap way to prolong game time. Also, I found some of the puzzles so far a bit too cryptical, but that might just be me and my brain. I probably will finish it to see the story through, I think I got 2 chapters left, but I am glad I got it on a huge sale.
