I added this to my wishlist months ago and just picked it up last night. The night I needed it most. It was the healing and validation I needed. To the creator,
Thank you for reminding me of me.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3436223287 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3436234465

"How do you expect to find love... if you can't even wait for a flower to fully bloom."

"I might be the luckiest person on Earth... to be able to experience this while I'm still alive."

"I might be the luckiest person on Earth... to be able to experience this while I'm still alive."
This game was short, simple, yet heartwarming. Makes you cry a little, even. So many meaningful messages told to the point I that had to pause and reflect on myself for a while. I've actually listened to L'Alphalpha's "Pulang, Kembali" before I discovered this game. Now it feels like it hits me even harder. Rest in peace, Fahmi. I hope your own train ride to what comes after is a better place.

It was a sweet game. I love the fact that you can hug the elephant, pet the dog, and much more. You can tell how much time and thought was put into this game. It was very heart warming. After the game, I felt the need to adopt a pet or buy a plant. I wanted to pour more love and care into something. Great game! Thanks!

Very simple and short, not much actual game play which will be hit or miss with people. You just walk, click on subjects and read conversations. I bought it on a sale and feel like my 70 minutes was worth the price I paid. I suffer from depression and anxiety so some conversations hit more than others. Nothing really new or profound was said, but I found myself tearing up a lot anyway especially with the animals.

What Comes After is wholesome game made by a small team and did hit me in the feels at times, so I feel bad leaving a negative review, but at the end of the day the gameplay entirely consists of talking to people and the writing was of inconsistent quality. The English version had plenty of awkward turns of phrase too; YMMV with other languages.
