I didn't make it far as trying to find the key for every room, then figuring out where the key went was frustrating. I also had no sense of direction at all as to what I was supposed to be doing.

This game isn't perfect, and not everyone will enjoy it, but it's a nice little game.
This is very much, 100% a walking simulator. It is slow paced and requires a lot of exploration. That's the type of game I enjoy, so I liked that.
My favorite part was the voice over. Whoever did it did a good job.
The hints given are very obvious and easy, but at the same time, knowing what you need and knowing how to get what you need are very different.
Be aware that it is glitchy. Every time I started the game, it would freeze on a black screen until I force quit and relaunched it. Then it would work fine. I also had to lower the game's settings to get smooth camera movement. There are also times when loading a saved game that numerous voice overs got triggered simultaneously, and there was just a wall of babbling voices.
That said, I think the complaints in other reviews have been addressed by the dev. Nothing is too dark, and the fast walk speed is acceptable.
If you like casual indie games, you may enjoy this. If you require a polished, AAA game to enjoy yourself, you won't like this.

refunded. I love walking sims but this is a broken game don't buy. No matter what setting I was on it was choppy, made me seasick to play. Doors are locked and you need to find keys. Well that would be great but the first key I picked up was not in my inventory when I went to the correct door. Also the inventory you have to scroll through everything to find your item...including pages you pick up..really just don't buy this at all not even on sale, because this is a broken game. I didn't experience the darkness like the other reviewer did but I didn't even make it past the first key since it wasn't in my inventory after pick up, you do pick up a flashlight before that.

Very Dark, Hard to see anything and slow playing even in running mode. I am lost in this game with no clear direction of where to go to what to do. So far I wouldn't recommend it. You could at least make it daytime.
